Carol & Roy are wonderful and friendly hosts. The room I let was spacious and had two single beds with private ensuite. The room and bathroom were tidied daily. Breakfast was filling and on time during the course of my stay. Carol makes great roast tomatoes. Roy's coffee got me revved up and ready to go. Lovely garden. And clean sheets to boot!

The Pilstyes is our home away from home! Carol and Roy provide the perfect Sussex experience every time we visit and we have been going back for years. From the scrumptious English breakfast to the comfortable beds and Olde English decor, everything is just right. The B&B is located right in the middle of quaint Lindfield, with all of the charm one can imagine. Pubs, restaurants, shops, a beautiful old church, cricket field and pond, what more could any traveler to Sussex want? Very reasonable prices and the uncompromising attention paid by the hosts make this an unqualified rave review.

Absolutely wonderful B&B. Carol & Roy are very friendly and nothing is too much trouble. We stayed in the Barn and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. We'll come up with any excuse to return.

We wanted somewhere to stay that was close to the County Show Ground and found Pilstyes on line. It was an excellent find. Carol and Roy were welcoming, friendly and attentive hosts. The cottage is charming and spotlessly clean. We had the double room with en-suite shower. The room was a good size and well equipped. The bed was comfy and we slept like logs! Carol and Roy provide a good, filling and tasty breakfast in the kitchen for their guests giving the opportunity for a friendly, relaxed chat with them and the other guests. Lindhurst is a pretty village with good pubs and restaurants within easy walking distance. The showground was approximately a 10 minute drive away. We can highly recommend Pilstyes and hope to return.
