The Hintons

Our visit to Katie's place in the Chilterns was the perfect end to our 4 week holiday in the UK. There is plenty of room to relax, repack, watch the birds, the sheep and all the lovely flowers and trees. Katie introduced us to the apartment which has two big living areas and a big bathroom with spacious shower room. Cereals, a loaf of bread, croissants, quality orange juice, yoghurt, butter and spreads were all provided. There are two full sized TVs, couches, table and chairs for meals, a microwave and refrigerator and the accommodation is quite separate and very private. The bed is very comfortable!! There are many local pubs but we liked 'the Bull and the Butcher' and 'The Grouse' the best. Thank you Katie! We left the UK feeling very relaxed and prepared for our journey home.

As promised, my wife and I booked another weekend at The Hintons and just as before, had an amazing time relaxing in this gorgeous B&B.
We were truly spoilt with the weather and we were recommended to some local pubs for food which were also first rate.
Katie and Mark are absolutely perfect hosts and we wanted for nothing. We even received a gift of the first bottle of their apple and pear juice which is delicious.
This truly is one of our favourite places to visit for a weekend break and with places like Dorchester and Oxford to visit, you really do have the best of both worlds.
We will hopefully return again before too long.

One of the best long weekend holidays I've ever had. The rooms were impeccable, the gardens beautiful, and the hosts thoughtful. I would be very happy to return.

Fantastic place to stay, spacious, clean, open fire place with supplied wood. Nice firm double bed matras. Really dark during the night, no light shining in from outside. Lovely view into the valley with birds and squirrels. Lovely host. Juice and croissants in the morning. Definitely coming back here!

Such a lovely place to stay - beautiful and spacious rooms, in an amazing setting along a country lane, surrounded by countryside and woodland. The host Katie is so friendly and helpful, but you are left alone to enjoy the peacefulness of the place. This was my second visit, and will not be the last! Really recommended for the building, cleanliness, location and host :-)

My partner and I had the most enjoyable stay at The Hinson's. The host was lovely and accommodating, all the rooms were extremely clean, comfortable bed and absolutely everything we needed. The location was beautiful and peaceful, with private courtyard and garden area. We will defiantly be coming back soon! Thank you very much Katie.

The property was just what I was expecting from the photos on the website. The rain shower in the bathroom was perfect and I had
difficulty coming out of it.
The lounge was very comfortable, views over the garden and beyond.
Lots of walks locally ,really well marked
Shall definitely return.
