The Old Post Office Bed & Breakfast

Had a lovely over night stay at the The Old Post Office. I was told we where one of the first to stay here after a revamp. I must say, lisa has done a very good job 🛠 . Breakfast was wonderful with a selection of traditional and fried on offer, plenty of tea, coffee and fresh juices. Thank you for your hospitality ladies am sure we will be back even if its just for your home made butter Rachael

Excellent value and well placed for any golfing break in and around Hollinwell & Sherwood Forest. Rooms very clean, piping hot water in the shower and splendid full English breakfast. Lisa couldn't do enough for us.
Parking a bit tight would be the only -ve.

Upon arriving at the location I was taken aback by the stunning views of nature surrounding the B&B. This fantastic first impression was only amplified by the incredibly warm welcome I received by Lisa and Rachel.

We were shown to our rooms which were super cosy, with tea and coffee facilities as well as a comfy bed which allowed us to look out over that beautiful view we were initially greeted with! The breakfast alone is a reason worth attending for, the fry up accompanied with the host's homemade butter was a wonderful treat.

There are also lots of local locations fantastic for a morning walk, the B&B is situated immediately next to the woods which walking through was a great way to start the morning.

Would recommend and will 100% be staying again

The room was decorated lovely and the whole place was immaculately clean inside. Really lovely and friendly staff and the full English breakfast was amazing.

The most friendliest place I have ever stayed. From the phone call to find out availability, to leaving, Rachel was so friendly, polite and extremely helpful. It was very clean and smelled very fresh. It is a home from home. The rooms are just beautiful and the views are breath taking. Breakfast. What can i say? It was gorgeous very scrumptious. We booked to go back in a few weeks and take the children. I can not wait. Thank you Rachael and Lisa (didn't get to meet you Lisa but hopefully next time)

Emmaculate place, didn't know about it. Found out by chance, the Service was beyond this world, the place was clean, all white but not a hair. I highly recommend thus B&B, Lisa and Partner Rachel rated the best hostesses. Thanks guys for your hospitality much appreciated. I had take away breakfast for work - amazing indeed.

Amazing hosts, beautiful house and one of the best breakfasts I’ve ever had 💕

Spent a great couple of nights at the Old Postie visiting friends in the area. Rachel was very welcoming and showed us the rooms and facilities.

The rooms and bathrooms were spotless, gorgeously decorated and the bed was incredibly comfortable, one of the best night’s sleep I’ve had in a while!

Full English breakfast was amazing too! Thoroughly recommend for a stay and I’ll be more than happy to stay again next time I visit.
