Primrose House

We along with other family members stayed at Primrose House as we were attending our daughters wedding nearby.
Court yard parking a plus, rooms very nice had everything we needed. The bed was so so comfortable. Breakfast outstanding, our Granddaughters chose their own freshly laid eggs from the hen house. A very friendly and well run B&B, would recommend to friends and family without hesitation. John Marshall, St.Helens

We stayed here for the weekend of my niece's wedding. Great choices for breakfast (fresh eggs from their own hens and homemade bread was awesome) The rooms were so comfortable. Paul and Susie made our weekend perfect.

A stunning, brilliantly run B&B with top class service, massive levels of comfort and in a delightful setting.
The breakfast is second to none and the scrambled eggs with smoked salmon exquisite.

Absolutely stunning guest house! Upon returning after a couple of years you really do appreciate how at home paul and susie make you feel. You will not find a better place to stay.

The Primrose House states it's a B&B but the room we stayed in felt like a Hotel room. We stayed in the Top Cottage which was wonderful. Clean, warm and comforting. Sue was there to great us on our arrival and was there in the morning to make our breakfast, which was 5 star to say the least. Goodbyes were made on our departure, and I can safely say we will be returning.

This was my third stay at Primrose House and I rebook because of the very warm welcome from Paul and Susie, the wonderfully comfy beds and spotless facilities. Breakfast is a highlight of the visit, freshly made with eggs laid by the hens that morning! When I return to the area in the Spring, my visit dates will be made around availability at Primrose House!

Stayed here for our sons wedding last week. From pulling up in the car to leaving two days later, we felt at home. The room we stayed in (upper cottage) was spacious, clean and comfortable. The breakfast and home made cakes were perfect. The best scrambled egg I’ve had in a B&b 👍
If I had to pick fault with anything, a bigger mirror on the dressing table would have helped when doing hair and makeup. There was a shaving style mirror but a proper dressing table one would have been better. That’s being picky because everything else was spot on. Ty for a lovely stay.
