David and Louise really know how hospitality should be done. The attention to detail, cleanliness and service at the Old Town Hall is something I've never experienced in a B&B before. We stayed in the Wensleydale suite with its beautiful wooden beams and large bathroom space. The room was set up in an extremely comfortable and functional way with everything we needed during our stay. The breakfast was exceptional and the marmalade made on site is a must try! If you're planning on visiting the area (or not) this is a B&B worth staying in!

A thoroughly enjoyable stay at the Old Town Hall despite, at times, some stormy weather. This is a gem of a place with superb, friendly and helpful hosts. Our room was first class, exceptionally clean and comfortable with lovely furniture, towels and bedding. The bathroom was fabulous, it was spacious complete with a spa bath, a walk in shower and lovely temple spa products. The lounge area with 2nd TV, fridge and tea tray was fully used and provided welcome extra space. The fridge was stocked with water, fresh milk, biscuits and a choice of cordials. Complementary wine on arrival, homemade cake and biscuits that were replenished were also part of the package. Lots of choice was available for breakfast. Food was consistently delicious during our 4 night stay and served to a very high standard. The breakfast room also has a comortable lounge area where we enjoyed the warmth of an open fire. The location is excellent for visiting local market towns, attractions and walking. There are a number of pubs and restaurants within easy driving distance for a meal out and one in Redmire itself to walk to. Fabulous few days away. Thank you David and Louise.

What a wonderful B&B and a lovely couple that runs it. Louise and David made the stay very comfortable. Very friendly and bent over backwards to support. Situated in a very beautiful and idyllic setting. I would highly recommend. Very accommodating for people with allergies. They made a wonderful breakfast. Their poached eggs were amazing!
The rooms are stunning and soooo comfy.
Thank you so much for such a wonderful stay. We will be back with our friends. Xx

Outstanding Luxury 5* B&B
Thank you so much to Louise and David for an amazing 2 nights spent in The Old Town House B&B in Redmire. We stayed in the Wensleydale Suite which was outstanding quality. We had a super king super comfy bed, our own lounge section and the most immaculate bathroom with one of the best showers we have experienced. We did not get to use the jacuzzi bath. All luxury items are included ie dressing robes, toiletries, mini fridge with complimentary wine, fresh milk, cordials, homemade biscuits with tea/coffee / hot chocolate selection to make you feel extra special.
Breakfast is superb with a great selection of freshly cooked locally sourced food.
Redmire is a beautiful village in a great location. We walked over the fields to Bolton Castle and also to Redmire falls. A stay here is a must for luxury peace and quiet and to be spoilt.
Thank you so much Karen & Ian

David and Louise have created a very special B&B. From the moment you check in you are made to feel really welcome. Beautiful, comfortable rooms and the most delicious breakfast, Nothing was too much trouble for either of them and we really felt this was one of the best B&Bs we have stayed in. The village and surrounding areas are beautiful and there is plenty to do when you are there. David and Louise are perfect hosts - they have extensive local knowledge and their website is packed with ideas of places to visit, walk and eat. hank you both so much - we will definitely be back!

We had a 2 night stays in September and it was absolutely wonderful. Lovely peaceful village location, fantastic walks nearby. The suite was more than we could have asked for, and the bed is so comfortable. Lovely, friendly hosts, delicious home made breakfast- the marmalade was my favourite. Highly recommended.

What a fabulous break Elaine and I had in this beautiful B and B. David and Louise are perfect hosts. They knew the area well and were willing to advise us on routes and places to see. The bedroom was spotlessly clean , beautifully decorated and contained numerous tasteful treats! As for the breakfast!!!! All local produce, beautifully cooked and presented and served by the immaculate hosts. The only problem was you needed a nap after eating it? The B and B is close to a wonderful pub and within an easy walk of Castle Bolton. The weather was incredibly hot and they tried so hard to help us remain cool and comfortable. We were even given fresh tea and the most beautiful banana bread we have ever eaten on our arrival. Don't hesitate to book this place, we couldn't recommend it enough!!!

This a North Country gem set in a beautiful landscape! David and Louise are perfect hosts and always go way beyond to make our stay memorable....even for our 2 expensive bikes!! Super-sparkly clean and delicious breakfast and yummy homemade cake and jams and marmalade and cookies and welcoming room gifts and books and bathrobes....big Yorkshire skies and fiendish hills for cycling....
what more can I say except "we'll be back again soon!" Oh...and 'Black Sheep'!! Everywhere!!
