Court House Inn

Lived here nearly 3 years. And one of my greatest regrets is I didn't try the food here until August. Which was AMAZING!!! My wife and I went back tonight and had a simple Southern Fried Chicken Burger. I grew up in Southern United States. And hand to my mom's cook book it was not only the BEST fried Chicken I've had in England but top 5 from the US. The staff was fantastic. The prices are to be honest a bit under priced in my opinion. The only suggestion is for the owner to highlight the history of the place more. There isn't many food places I will miss after leaving here but this ranks top 3!

Quick last minute overnight. Made very welcome. Unfortunately restaurant was closed being a Monday, however, they kindly allowed me to have a takeaway delivered which I ate in the bar area. Comfy and clean. Great staff. Thank you.

Poorly managed pub and pricey compared to other pubs in Thrapston . Usually full of kids of a dubious age. Only one ale which rarely is drinkable . .

Lovely little rooms very cosy ,however very loud noises from the people drinking in the pub below, especially after closing time when they all congregate outside, and a lot of door slamming during the pub opening hours, had to drink myself to sleep 😴 just a shame the rooms are above a very busy pub ,but wouldn't put me off staying here again ,just make sure you take your earmuffs or headphones,

Far too noisy. Cleanliness issues! Terrible mattress. Parking wasn't great. Wasn't a great experience. Wouldn't stay again unfortunately. A bit more attention to cleanliness, mattress, supply of ear plugs would improve score to 2.5 - 3 stars.
Staff were very helpful and friendly.

I booked a room last minute at the Court House Pub and Hotel. The room rate was excellent value and the service I received when I arrived was brilliant. In preparation for the London to Brighton bike ride in September I had just cycled from Milton Keynes to Thrapston. My plan was to then stay at a friend’s house. Unfortunately, he was running late and not wanting to sit around for two hours waiting for him I booked a room. When I arrived, I was greeted by the landlady, who could see I was exhausted and dragging my bike behind me. Without having to ask she told me where I can leave my bike for the evening and not have to worry about it. I was then promptly checked into a lovely room that was clean, comfortable and very welcoming. All in all it was a lovely stay. Thank you so much folks. I will certainly be staying again.

Had an amazing stay at the courthouse inn. Colleen, the owner of the pub was so generous and unbelievably nice. She provided us with great food, conversation and a comfy bed. Will 1000% stay again. Thanks Colleen!

Called in for couple of drinks was nice only few local in was warm and welcoming bar staff very friendly nice place
