Warm and cozy B&B. The hosts, Jackie and Chris were so lovely and helpful. Perfect breakfast! They have a lot of choices that you can choose from. My room was very clean and comfortable. Great location for walking around Settle. Private car park. Highly recommended!!!

Stayed here over Easter (Flying Herbert Room). Really friendly B and B. Rooms were very cosy, well-kept and breakfast particularly was really good. Hosts are cheerful and helpful -- ask them for help if you get stuck on where to go for walks or what places to visit in the vicinity. Will definitely be coming back. Plus point: next to Talbot Arms next door, which has great beer and pub food

Couldn't have wished for anything better!
Jackie and Chris are excellent kind hearted hosts, their B&B is welcoming, clean and warm. The showers are great and such a welcome after a hard day walking. The bedrooms are clean, fresh and impeccable. After a great nights sleep, we had a wonderful breakfast including homemade bread and preserves in addition to anything else you wanted ranging from porridge to a full English. On the day I didn't want breakfast Jackie packed me off with homemade flapjack - delicious and such a kind thought. I can't recommend them highly enough.

I had a very pleasant stay in this beautiful guest house in Settle. I slept in a comfortable room on the top floor with a good shower. The hosts, Jackie and Chris, are kind and hospitable and I found it really nice to talk to them about all sorts of things. Jackie’s tasteful flapjacks helped me through some energy dips up there on those barren hills of the Yorkshire Dales.

Absolutely fantastic! Stayed just the one night as part of a cycle trip completing the Way of the Roses. The hosts could not do enough for us from storing our bikes to the fresh milk for tea when we arrived. The room was so comfortable and the shower and toiletries and fluffy towels much appreciated after a long day on the bike! Settle itself ,having never been before has made me want to revisit and explore again sometime but I'm not too sure I want to cycle up that hill again 😝

This Guest House has everything you would need and much more. A lovely, cosy bed. A well appointed bathroom with a jacuzzi. Perfect after a long walk. There is also a fridge for keeping the wine cool. The breakfasts were brilliant with fresh fruit. Full English. But also smoked salmon and kippers as well. Would thoroughly recommend as a base for walking or cycling. The hosts were perfect. A good pub doors away.

Highly recommended. Perfect for what I needed and very good value for money. I stayed here for my first overnight stop whilst cycling "The Way of the Roses" and I would recommend the King William to any fellow cyclists. Great location in the center of Settle. Lovely, charming period house that is very clean and obviously very well cared for. Very friendly and hospitable welcome. Very comfortable bed. Great breakfast. And the Talbot Arms is just a few yards away - a great pub with excellent ale & friendly staff, where I had a very tasty dinner.
