We had the pleasure to visit in the off-season and found it to be a beautiful vacation spot. Ian was so wonderful and accommodating. After an amazing breakfast, he took time to show us the best navigation down the VERY scenic coastal route back to Edinburgh. Thank you for everything!

Have chosen to stay at Castleview twice over the last few years. Quiet and beautifully appointed. The proprietors very friendly and helpful. Perfect for visits to the many distilleries in the area. Ian also very accommodating in dealing with special dietary restrictions.

Couldn't have been better. Ian was so polite and friendly. Bathroom was so nice. Bed was so comfortable and the room when we walked in felt like a 5 star room. Loved it, nearly stayed another day because it was so good. We met some Americans who couldn't use the sat nav because of the internet, I suggested HERE WeGo - Offline Maps & GPS you can use phones GPS, free and easy with speed notifications. No date needed as you can use it offline once maps have been downloaded.

Visited for a fishing trip. 3rd visit to Castle View and as always Ian and Betty were the perfect hosts. The food is always amazing including lots of local produce but Ian has now raised the bar by including a selection of tasting menus. The meal he served up was high end restaurant quality and a real treat, so if you book make sure you book this option as you WILL NOT be disappointed!! Heading back later this year. Really peaceful spot close to Dufftown centre, beautiful rooms, beautiful gardens, a real gem!!
