Staying just for one night (shame!) as I was meeting friends in the area mid morning and couldn't face a long drive from Berkshire that morning. The location is second to none, next to the Offa's Dyke trail, with fantastic views from the room, watching the mist clear over the hills was very special.
Very happy with my room, the breakfast was freshly cooked and ideal for the long day I had ahead. The welcome from Viv and her husband was outstanding and I felt more like I was visiting friends than staying at a B&B, I'll be back!

Great place to stay! Camping or b&b, right on offas dyke path. Viv is the best host, and there is a pool, which was very welcome after a 10 mile walk during a UKrecord heat wave. Don’t miss this gem in the countryside!

We had a good time at Offa's Dyke, the accommodation was situated in a lovely location although we did not hike enough to make the most of it. Their swimming pool was great with floating devices provided. Hosts were friendly and conversational when we had our breakfast which was very tasty.

Rooms / ensuite very clean and tidy. Hosts friendly and welcoming, set up the outside pool for us to use and checking we had everything we needed after a long day of walking. Location is right on the Offas Dyke Path so an excellent stopover or base to explore from. Thank you.

Promised I’d leave a review and finally got round to it...

Stayed here back in April while walking Offa’s Dyke on my way to John o’Groats.

Called up to ask about staying late in the day and Viv was very accommodating getting a room ready for me in no time at all. I’d been soaked through by torrential rain and Viv sorted out somewhere for me to dry my things overnight. Best of all was the breakfast, which included a pack up of sandwiches and homemade Scotch eggs!

Would recommend to anyone walking Offa’s Dyke as it’s pretty much right on the path. Thanks for the stay!

Fantastic stay again! We found this gem last year while walking Offa's Dyke and were so impressed we wanted to return. Lovely room, great food and a very warm welcome. Couldn't ask for more. Thanks Viv.

Very peaceful stay with amazing views, friendly welcome and a lovely breakfast. Felt very relaxed staying at Offas Lodge, just a shame it was only one night.
