Lovely pub, definitely the best we've been to in the area in terms of food, service and vibe. Cosy log fires and good music! Genuinely surprised by the negative reviews re: the welcome they had, found the staff to be very accomodating (we turned up 10 minutes before the kitchen was due to close for the night) and we were greeted with good humour. The food was delicious, would definitely recommend for anybody visiting the area

Visited on a rainy 1st of May for Sunday lunch. We decided on the roast beef and were not disappointed, everything was superb. Would highly recommend for a delicious great priced Sunday lunch. Will definitely visit again, I would recommend pre booking as the pub was very busy

Traditional pub with a good kitchen. We enjoyed a few drinks (garden at the back) and had a good meal. No problem getting gluten free with very helpful staff. Check for specials of the day.

Only had a meal in the Ship. Both had a Swordfish from the special board. The food was very good. The staff were very pleasant and I would recommend a visit while in Solva.

Fab little pub serving a good variety of special fish. Nice beer nice staff, feels owned rather than tennanted. 100 times nicer than harbour pub on quay, but beer garden whilst lovely in day, does not get evening sun.

In Solva on holiday for the second time this year. We discovered, and fell in love with, the Ship on our first visit, and were not disappointed on our second.

Good selection of real ales, lagers, ciders, friendly owners and bar staff (they even remembered us from our first visit!), roaring log fires when chilly and exceptional food at a reasonable price.

Lovely place for a drink, meal and a chat with both visitors and locals alike.

Called in for lunch. Despite the fact that it was a very quiet Tuesday both the log fire and lig burner were blazing. I had the most delicious local crab baguette with a beautifully dressed salad. My husband had the Welsh beef, which he said was fabulous. Landlady and landlord both so nice and welcoming. My first pint tasted a bit off and it was replaced with no quibble and a smile. Great choice of paint colour and good (and very varied) background music. A thoroughly enjoyable experience.
