Very polite and accommodating hosts, plenty of parking and an ideal location for me at the time. My room was a decent size for a b&b but unfortunately I could hear them through the floor of my room and struggled to get to sleep until they went quiet. Despite this I would return as I mostly enjoyed my stay.

We stumbled across this tearoom accidentally when looking for breakfast and we thought it looked really nice. The hot chocolate was so smooth and creamy and the full breakfast was the best full breakfast I've ever had. It was so good that we should have struggled to get in. The only negative comment I can add is that they are nowhere near as busy as they should be.

Excellent little place. The owners were great to talk to and the coffee was 5/5. I had two 😊
Breakfast was also very nice. Precisely what we needed before a big day surfing.

A great location for walkers / climbers. Not if you are after something a bit more luxurious , BUT lovely and clean, comfortable temperature in the room, comfortable bed and although we were sharing a shower room, it was really clean and the shower was lovely and powerful and hot. Breakfast is cereal buffet and a simple fry up, but really good quality ingredients. Unfortunately the onsite licensed restaurant is only open 9-5 now, I suspect the current owners are winding down to a handover, but they were really friendly, and even though we movdd our booking, still accomodated our dogs. If this place gets taken over, a few small changes will make all the difference. Overall good value for money.

Stayed over night in the two doubles on the side of the property after an assent of Snowdon . The proprietors made us feel welcome and dried my walking jacket for me . Rooms were clean and tidy with tea and coffee facilities and TV we had the added bonus of the lounge down stairs . Breakfast was fulsome and hit the spot. Thank-you for a pleasant stay. Great place for walking in the mountains and close to Bangor where’s there’s a spoons !!

Gross Groeslon - Terror at the Ty Mawr Tearooms
From the churlish male welcome to the black mould, damp, faulty water system and lack of heating, there really isn't anything positive to say about the stay here. In all my extensive international travelling I have never encountered such poor quality accommodation and lack of customer service. Chose not to eat breakfast due to the slovenly arrogant attitude of the male. Also upon returning from one of our days out our window had been left wide open, with all our possessions inside, next to a busy road. We can therefore only assume that any positive reviews are reflective of the accommodation in the main building, and not the chalet type rooms in which we stayed. Payment was made by us for the room as we felt genuinely sympathetic for the female owner of this business who obviously requires both staff and training in people skills.

Friendly and Courteous Owners. Nothing too much trouble for them. Food was lovely - Homemade, Fresh and Delicious. Considering we both Ordered Cooked Meals, we didn't wait long at all. Even something as simple as the Tea and Coffee was Lovely. Garden Outside is a Pleasant Outdoor Area to sit in. Well Done for making all the difference with adhering to the Regulations and Guidelines currently in Place. Nothing within the Establishment has suffered because of the Regulations. Thank You for your Hospitality.
