Stayed in one of the top notch rooms, really spacious and luxurious. Views outstanding with scenery breathtaking. It was my wife's birthday and so I asked for flowers (additional charge) so the above and beyond really appreciated...
Breakfast delivered to the room a lovely touch also...

Stunning location. Wonderful views and comfortable accommodation. Friendly and helpful staff. Shame we only stayed one night. I was with three children and dog.... We all really enjoyed. Some nice touches and thoughtful ideas for us and the dog! Thank you.

The park is incredible, above all in the morning or just before the sunset, but for the rest it's not a 5 stars. Not at all. The decoration is old, there is spiders in the room, the food is just quite okay and the service is really slow. For the price it's not a good compromise.

A little disappointing.

The grounds are very picturesque and lovely. The breakfast was also very nice, albeit with limited options. The location was very close to my friend's house hence we choose this hotel.

The room was just ok. Tidy and clean, but the bed wasn't very firm, the pillows just collapsed like pancakes and there was only 1 socket near the bed. There was also no mini fridge and when I asked I was denied one. So unfortunately our bottled water and diet coke were room temp, which is hardly a disaster but not exactly a 4* hotel stay experience either. We felt a bit like we were in a cheaper hotel.

The staff were sparse, I often struggled to find anyone if I needed something.

I'd probably look elsewhere next time.

Very old and dripping in history, yet surrounded by wildlife. Staff are helpful and informative with plenty of local knowledge. Several dog friendly rooms and great local walks, with one of the best scenic locations on your door step. The breakfast is rich and fresh as you are spoilt with a large selection of cooked or continental as well as fruits yogurts and cereals. Best of all are the local nocturnal animals, namely the bats which you can watch from 5am if your brave enough.

Such a beautiful location. Lovely quiet walks. This hotel has some amazing rooms with exceptional views. Sadly, our wasn't one of them. We opted for a classic room which had all you needed for a short stay(including dead flies on the window sill) It was very cold and despite there being a radiator never really warmed up. We ate in the restaurant, again very cold but the food and service were great. I would recommend this place when the weather is warmer. It has some very querky rooms.

Beautiful surroundings and a very quaint hotel with an excellent restaurant. Great walking around the estate. The only negative was that the bedroom was very cold.

Been staying here since 2019. A really lovely place with nice rooms and great views. Customer services has always been amazing but found our recent stay to be so so. But we will still return as we (family) love it here.
