Isallt Guest House

Excellent food, great service, amazing views. I've been in a few times now and the food has always been great, the staff have always been lovely and well behaved dogs are welcome too. There is a small but tasty homemade menu with changing specials and homemade soft drinks. I've previously been in for soup or cake and coffee, but today we went in for breakfast and their cooked breakfast is very good - quality ingredients cooked well. The WiFi is fairly fast. The dining rooms are pleasant, and the terrace is really lovely on a sunny day. Pretty darn perfect overall.

An excellent experience! The rooms are nice and clean, everything you need including towels. A very warm welcome when we arrived. Lovely friendly owners. Plenty of parking. Eateries in easy walking distance with a co-op across the road for essentials.

Outstanding customer service, couldn't do enough to help! Really loved collecting the breakfast bags, more than enough food! Room was a decent size, TV, hairdryer, addional warm blanket, bed was really comfy and more than enough refreshments plus free secure parking, definitely recommend! Would recommend the chippy and Mexican which was a stones throw from their B&B too.

Great place to stay for our trip recently. Good value, friendly owner, definitely will look to stay again next time we visit the area. The lights could do with being turned on in the garden of an evening though; would make it much nicer when sitting out there on a warm summer's evening.

Stayed here for two nights,a very warm welcome from the host Richard,rooms very clean and comfortable everything you need,the breakfast bags are so good plenty to keep you going.Location is great, would definitely stay here again .

Location is good, rooms are spacious and clean. Richard and Anne were super attentive for our staying. I highly recommend the guest house in the area. Best ever! Superstar!

Lovely guest house, the rooms are clean and fresh and Richard was a wonderful host. We felt so welcome and relaxed during our stay. The only downside was the use of the rooms to advertise a MLM which we found disappointing! If it was not for this I think it would’ve been the perfect stay and I’d quickly recommend it to anyone thinking of staying in the area!

Richard was very friendly, giving good advice on local points of interest. Towels and bedding were great, breakfast was as advertised in a bag and was the best it could be in these covid times. Very close to slate caverns and handy for other nice drives to nearby attractions.
