Excellent place to stay. Beautiful house, room & bathroom. Everything was extremely comfortable & immaculate. The 2 hosts were really helpful & friendly. We were given a jug of fresh milk for tea making in our room, so much nicer than long life milk in little cartons! It’s just a short walk to the centre of Brecon. Lovely views of the cathedral from the conservatory where we enjoyed 2 delicious breakfasts. Thank you for a really lovely stay & helping to make my 60th birthday so memorable.

A beautiful house with a lovely view of the cathedral. Our room was spacious and comfortable with every possible need catered for. We enjoyed four nights here and Tony was the perfect host.
Exceptional hearty breakfast !

Partner and I just spent three very relaxing nights here. Room (Cathedral view) was clean and v. comfy. Tony very accommodating. Meals good and generous portions. We'd be happy to go back.

My recent weekend in Brecon was partly wiped out due to Storm Dennis, but in all other ways was very enjoyable due to the lovely accommodation at the Sŵn yr Afon with Tony looking after me (and my rain ☔️ soaked clothes!), Alice and Megan providing the canine factor, fantastic breakfasts and endless coffees plus... a lovely walk with Liz the dog walker when one of my study days was cancelled! Just spent two Lovely nights Lovely rooms wonderful shower. Tony the host very friendly and cooks a wonderful breakfast highly recommended staying here .

Highly recommend! A hidden gem at Brecon. You get to experience ‘living like a local’. The B&B is perfect for us as a couple. Private on site parking made it very convenient. Tony cooks really good breakfast and guests can choose different option every morning. Alice (the dog) is very friendly and super super well behaved. I especially like the cleanliness of the place.

Tony and Alice are very welcoming when we got to the room it was very clean beautiful views and also complimentary bottles of Prosecco which always go down well. The bed was incredibly comfortable and the breakfast was amazing you can definitely tell this is a 5 star establishment really enjoyed our stay and we will definitely be back
