The Gables

The Gables has it all! Wonderful hosts who go out of their way to make your stay perfect, excellent home cooking, beautifully decorated rooms and all in a stunning setting. Just returned from my 2nd visit and will definitely be going again, with or without a horse!

Debbie is a most wonderful host, kind generous and very hospitable. Her home is a gem in this beautiful area, comfy bed, wonderful food. Would visit again without hesitation.

Lovely food, great accommodation for humans and horses, and fantastic riding on Halkyn Mountain. Thank goodness I’ve got another visit booked in three weeks!

An absolutely stunning home which you are warmly welcomed into by the owner and fabulous hostess Debbie. Accommodation is faultless with an exceptional menu for all. Lots of secure paddocks for the horses with so many varied and stunning rides straight from the gates. I would 100% recommend.

Fantastic overall experience. Great riding, lovely horse facilities, outstanding human food and accommodation. Highly recommended.

Beautiful farmhouse, delicious food and no problem with a vegan diet. The hacking was first class, lots of grassy tracks, outstanding scenery. I can't rate our stay too highly, it was brilliant! We had a good laugh and drink in hot tub to finish off the day. A big thanks to Debbie, the owner, for making us so welcome.

Can't rate The Gables highly enough, first class accomodation for both riders and the horses, superb food with plenty of choice and enough riding with breathtaking views to last a lifetime!! The hosts couldn't do enough to make sure we had a great time, many thanks. Looking forward to coming again soon
