We've just come home having stayed at the Witchingham B&B for the weekend. Brought our dog with us on her first ever weekend away. The room we stayed is had its own en suite and it was everything we needed. Clean and cosy. The WiFi was great, we had a TV and lots of room. A fantastic place to stay that doesn't cost alot, great scenery for people that want to get out and about and it's on the doorstep. Will definitely come here again!!! Thankyou Claire for making our stay a happy one.

Perfect stay! The beds are comfy, the shower is hot, the room is clean! The key things that I really liked - the room is clean, but to satisfy people who may feel extra cautious, a bottle of spray and wipes are left in your room, which I found to be really thoughtful and understanding. Also, in the bathroom, there are cotton buds, cotton wool and soap&shampoo sachets which was very much appreciated.
I don't think Claire could have done anything better. It was smashing! Thank you.
I can highly recommend staying at Witchingham. Just near the harbour too, for those who love boats and beautiful sunsets!

No one there to greet us, no EV charger working as promised. Nice house, nice bed. Breakfast was poor, not great value for money. Sometimes people want a cooked breakfast and all we got was a variety of serials. Claire was absent and quite vague on the telephone when asked about EV charging but was quick to ask for 5 pounds for the use if the charger that didn't work

We stayed at Witchingham for two nights on our trip to Anglesey. The house itself is located almost beach side, and has spectacular views over the Irish sea from the street.
We did not interact nor meet with the staff or owners as they seem to be continuing covid safe practices, with keys left in envelopes inside the unlocked porch door (so make sure you lock everything in your rooms, as the inside of the house would be easy to access for anyone). We were informed of how to gain entry by message and we checked out by leaving keys in a bowl. The breakfast was an extra £5 per person with only toast or cereal on offer (we didn't think this was worth it), and eating anything in the rooms is completely banned. We were told in the message this pertained only to hot meals but in the room it didn't specify only hot foods. There are directions to several restaurants for afternoon and evening meals avaliable, but none for breakfasts. We found a mcdonalds not too far away as this seemed the only option for a hot meal to prepare properly for a long day out.
We took a double room on the top floor, with a double bed, wardrobe, and ensuite. You are not told whether you would get a shower or bath before arrival, and we were left with just a shower. There are tea and coffee facilities that you can replenish yourself from a tray in the lobby, and beakers for water. There is a smart TV in the room, where you can log into Netflix or prime and watch what you'd like to, but don't forget to sign out on leaving. Someone was still signed into prime in our room.
The room itself was quite clean, and well attended to, but the extractor fan for the bathroom was thick with dust. The walls are exceedingly thin, with guests arriving late to stay overnight before or after ferries disturbing sleep. You cannot hear any street noise though.

Really good. Except the double bed
mattress. The springs on the bed showed through and were very uncomfortable. Plus the bed squeaked every turn on the bed.

Nice place to stay for a few nights. Smart TV was a nice touch and check-in was smooth and easy. Room was clean and comfy and shower really nice 👌The town itself is slightly dead but had some pretty spots close by and a really nice local Thai in the town (was basically the only choice haha.) Overall a very positive stay.

Place was very clean and tidy. Has a welcoming atmosphere and procedures in place for Covid, such as contactless ways to get your keys and access, disinfectant in each room, covers over the TV remote, a help yourself station to replenish the complimentary tea and coffee in your room, menus on site for some of the local takeaways and many more small things to help. The owner, Claire, was phenomenal in accommodating us. She is very friendly and was very willing to help with any questions or needs of guests. The views where beautiful, overlooking the bay and you are only a short walk from the front. Overall, it was a pleasant experience and definitely one I would highly recommend.
