Such an idyllic place to stay! Just outside of Haverfordwest, remote with a view of the sheep. The husband and I booked the 'Woodland View' room which overlooked the front garden and sheep. It was a clean ensuite room; and had everything we needed for our weekend getaway. The first morning I had a cold shower, not sure why, but all other days were fine. Breakfast was lovely; one over-cooked poached egg on the last day but the husband's breakfast was prefect all 3 days. So didn't think it needed a mark down from 5 stars, just a few things to improve on. But it was near perfect! Jen, the owner was lovely and attentive. The location was also great; pretty much a 20-40 minute drive to most places we wanted to visit. We would definitely go back again.

It’s hard to think of this place as a Bed and Breakfast . Yes if offers a bed and a wonderful breakfast but it offers more. It’s a grand comfortable home which invites you to stay and enjoy it’s comforts. The opulent furnishing and carpets give a feeling of luxury whilst the peaceful setting allows the mind to drift off. We stayed in room 2 which overlooks the front of the house and during our stay a field of grazing sheep. The garden looked beautiful. The furnishing are antiques and displayed to their best with the personal touches and family photographs of the host and her family- the ambiance is home- a very special home which welcomes you as it’s guest as the clock gently chimes in the background. Now to the breakfast. This at Hook Farm is an occasion to look forward to. To start I enjoyed. Feast of fresh fruits. Fresh strawberries, grapes, melon and blueberries. To follow a cooked breakfast - thick lean succulent bacon-with a firm crispy edge. Meaty tasty sausage with a fresh egg with a beautiful thick golden yolk and sweet ripe tomatoes. The jam- served in its own dish is a higher quality - akin to that enjoyed at the Ritz-whilst the bread is fresh crusty and tasty. There is nothing ordinary here- it’s all high quality and worthy of the continuous high rating. All it asks in return is your respect and the removal of dirty footwear as you enter for which you are offered a tray. I hope if you stay here you will find it as enjoyable as we did.

We stayed in the double bedroom which has a slanted roof. I would give the room a 2 star as it was a bit too cosy and we smashed our head on the exposed roof beams and it was abit too dark even during the day. Also the room has a shared bathroom with another room, which could be annoying. So if we stay again, we would definitely choose another room. The location is 5 stars - really close to the Havens and 30 minutes from St. Davids. The service is out standing and well worthy of 5 stars. Jenn is an amazing host and she makes the greatest of breakfasts. She makes the B&B feel very homely. We will be staying again.

5 star + ( I would give it 6 if I could). The room and facilities are all you could wish for and the welcome superb. The setting is so tranquil. The breakfast of local produce and home made bread is an added bonus. Delicious!

We were made to feel very welcome, and had a massive, comfortable bed in a big light room (with a slightly uphill walk to the windows!)
The breakfasts were great, plenty of choice, good food.
The farm is in a beautiful and peaceful setting, very handy for Haverfordwest and the Pembrokeshire National Park. We had a great time.

This is an excellent choice of bed and breakfast if you're looking for a comfortable, clean and above all, quiet place to stay. The breakfast is very good, with plenty of options - I certainly didn't leave feeling hungry!! The accommodation is aimed at couples (there are no family rooms) which makes the stay all the more relaxing IMHO. This is also a working farm although there was so little noise it was hard to believe that! It's conveniently located for the coast and the evening dining recommendations were spot on. Karen is an excellent host and I can't wait to come back again!!
