A traditional pub, tucked away on a quiet road in Mid Wales. The food is excellent and all of the staff are very friendly and helpful. I had the breaded Brie with Cranberry jelly starter, vegetarian nut roast with homemade garlic and mushroom sauce (one of the tastiest nut roasts I've ever had), followed by a Martini trifle and an excellent coffee.
Definitely on my favourite places to eat out.
What a lovely, traditional place to meet friends and family.

My partner and i stumbled upon this Pub/ Restaurant/B&B on Monday evening and sat down for a 3 course Dinner. having travelled extensively, we can honestly say, this was the best meal we have enjoyed. We were greeted by owner Alice and her young assistant Lilly and made very welcome. 3 Course meal washed down by drinks to start with and coffee/tea later, we left this delightful hostelry feeling very content with our experience particularly the bill which was only £55.00
We live less than 10 miles away so look forward to visiting again very soon!

Old traditional pub instead of a chain . Really nice staff and the food was amazing . We stayed for 2 nights but wish it was more . Definitely can't recommend enough

Stopped for a late lunch with both my parents and my 8 year old son.
Wow, beautiful place. Very clean and tidy, greeted with a smile and we felt very welcome. The food was lovely too . I had the lasagne which is served with chips and a salad, everything was hot and fresh, has to be one of the first times I've had a lasagne that wasn't burnt around the edges. My fussy child had nuggets chips and beans, and the portion was very good plenty for him. I can't comment on the fish and chips my parents had but both left clean plates.
Overall definitely worth stopping for a bite if your passing through.

a homely & Welcoming . A well run Establishment.
The Land Lady has a dedicated team of staff and together they create an ambience of old world charm and appeal,
together with clean and tidy rooms and very comfortable bed, and a wonderful Breakfast, Lunch and dinner of your
own choice, make this the perfect retreat, be it Weekend , midweek, Longer. plus one evening weekly music night and, quiz, makes a holiday in its self. very enjoyable.
