One of the most friendly and lovely places to stay in the area. Wonderful garden and great rooms. Felt very restored after staying there.

Went here for The Beacons Ultra race. The location couldn't be better, 5 mins walk to the start/finish line. And there's a parking space right across this B&B.
The room was very tidy and comfortable. Shower space was nice with good hot water. Loved the little fire place in the common area. There's a small shared kitchen with a kettle and some tea bags.
The owner - Carol and her husband were very friendly and helpful. They served fresh made homely breakfast (beans, eggs, mushrooms, bacon, tomatoes based on your choice).
It's great to cycle around here too. This time of the year is just so beautiful. Big recommendation!

Lovely place to stay which is situated very close to the canal and village amenities at Tallybont on Usk. This is a beautiful area to explore. Carol made me feel very welcome and provided a good breakfast.

Fantastic little B&B to stay at, called up last minute before a busy BH weekend and they had accommodation available and at an excellent price too. Was greeted on arrival by a lovely hostess and shown the lovely cottage to unpack. Even had bike storage too and the cooked breakfast was delightful. Will definitely stay again and have recommended to friends who also like to explore the area. Thank you Carol for a lovely break, John

Little gem of a place! Spent a wonderful evening at Hawthorns. Carol and her husband are wonderful hosts. The rooms are spotless, the bed is so comfy didn't want to get out of it! Home baked cookies which were outstanding! Will definately recommend to anybody.

Lovely place to stay given the price. The owner even went to collect takeaway from the village shop for us before we arrived as everywhere to buy food would be closed when we arrived. Clean room and comfortable big bed. Good breakfast and the owner was extremely accommodating at doing this early for us so we could get out of the door. Would recommend.

Very accomodating host.Overnight stay to attend a nearby wedding Carol allowed an earlier check in. Spacious clean room with communal living area, very tranquil setting. Lovely breakfast.Great location to expore Talybont-On-Usk

Excellent hosts . Second visit in the past few months to visit family . Can't recommend this B&B enough. Food lovely and fresh,beds clean and comfortable tea and coffee provided in rooms and communial area .Will stay here again .
