Mid Wales Breaks Cwtch Self catering Plus B&B

Stayed here for 2 nights over winter with my partner and has a lovely stay. The room was decorated beautifully and was plenty big enough. There was ample storage and an en suite bathroom which was also gorgeous. The views from the property are breathtaking as you can see nothi g but rolling hills and there was a fridge just outside the room which you could pay a small amount for snacks and drinks.
The only let down was that breakfast was served round 1 large table so you are sitting with the other guests and the owners family, which can be quite uncomfortable. Would definitely get 5 stars if they had separate tables In the breakfast room.

Stayed here for a few nights, the room was really nicely decorated and very spacious. The let down was having to have breakfast with the hosting family all round the same table! Not a fan of that especially if you are on a romantic get away...

This was a last minute booking when my partner and I were let down at another place we had booked nearby. We called to see if there was availability and had a very warm reception and invited to come as soon as we needed. We arrived around 3pm and were greeted by the owner who showed us the two rooms available and let us choose the one we preferred. The drive down to the house is beautiful and as we got closer I knew we weren't going to be disappointed. The house is gorgeous, beautifully decorated and so homely and comfortable. We chose the Camomile room, a super king bed, stunning furniture, luxurious bedding and overall just incredibly high quality finish. Even Laura Ashley bone china in the room to make our own tea and coffee. We were offered tea or coffee after we chose our room and told to make ourselves at home - we did! We were treated to home made fruit cake, covered in butter and a near perfect pot of tea to enjoy in the little lounge area outside the bedrooms. Such a lovely touch. We went for dinner at the Red Lion pub nearby, a really lovely little place, super friendly and welcoming staff and good pub food. When we returned we helped ourselves to some board games from the snug (which is where breakfast is served) and retreated to our beautiful room. We had an incredibly peaceful and warm night (it dropped to freezing overnight). I have to make a point of stressing how utterly spotless the whole place is, the bathroom was immaculate. And the quality of the finish is beautiful - the bedroom curtains are as thick as a summer duvet! My partner had to leave early the next morning for work so a continental breakfast was left out for him, which I also helped myself too and took up to our room. Fresh melon and yoghurt with granola - with a selection of little pots to make your own topping, really tasty. So whilst we didn't have the cooked breakfast, I have no doubt it would have been fabulous. I am so glad that our original plan fell through and we found this hidden gem. We will absolutely be back! If you're looking for a stop off on a long journey, a weekend away with a partner or a midweek break and you value beautiful style, comfort and a warm welcome - you need to book a stay here.

I only made a flying visit but this seemed a really nice place in a beautiful spot! Great breakfast and comfortable accommodation.

Host is very friendly and helpful although she doesn't really answer her phone. Room was massive and very clean. We really enjoyed our stay. My son enjoyed playing with the dogs, but I'm not comfortable with dogs.
It is an excellent place to stay if you want some peace and quiet. It is in the middle of nowhere in the mountain. 😁😃

Absolutely fabulous weekend. The welcome was warm, the rooms beautifully appointed and clean, and the breakfasts hot and generous. I could not have asked for more.
