Bronwye Guest House

We booked Bronwye Guest House at the very last moment as the result of a family bereavement and were accompanied by my father who has trouble walking. Tony and Sandra were very helpful and understanding of our situation. The accommodation exceeded all our expectations. The rooms were clean and comfortable with nice views over the churchyard or the park. Comfortable beds and lots of small touches that make all the difference such as a carafe of iced water in our room when we arrived. Excellent breakfast served in a cosy dining room. Sandra's homemade yoghurt a particular treat. Absolutely recommended.

Had a lovely 4 night stay at Bronwye. The hosts couldn't do enough for me and my daughter, from the chats and advice on places to visit, to the outstanding breakfasts. It really felt like a stay with family with such a warm welcome

Tony and Sandra were great hosts and made you feel right at home, nothing was to much trouble.
Rooms were spotless and had nice little touches.
We were on a motorcycle tour of the area and Tony let us park out bikes in his garage which I thought was really nice.
Also a great base to tour around the area.
One last thing the breakfast was great and Sandra’s home made yogurt, the best.

Perfect location on The Groe where I was helping an event in remembrance of Violette Szabo yesterday. Excellent room, very comfortable bed, delicious breakfast and delightful hosts, Tony & Sandra Tye. Top marks from me!

One of the best bed and breakfast we have had. Sandra and Tony were very helpful. The rooms were immaculate with very many “extras” and breakfast was excellent. Everything is done to make one’s stay memorable. Well done

I recently booked Bronwye for a one-night stay. The booking process was really simple and I got my confirmation straight away. I received clear instructions from the owners on how to find the property and about the free parking. I managed to find the location with ease and the check-in process was a breeze. My room was really well appointed and it had all the amenities I could expect. Included WiFi was fast, plenty of refreshments and biscuits were provided and my room was nice and clean. It was a lot better than I expected and I was pleasantly surprised. Sandra and Tony were excellent hosts and I got some tips from both of them for my trip. I had a great start the following morning with a freshly prepared full English breakfast that was included with my booking.

Overall I had a really comfortable stay and would recommend Bronwye to anyone looking for a comfortable and reasonable stay in Builth Wells.
