Liked: The shepherds hut was amazing with a huge window seeing the most beautiful views of the hills. We also brought our pooch with us it is so lovely when locations are dog friendly!! Very comfortable bed. The breakfast hamper is a fabulous touch with everything that you need to make a great breakfast to start the day! Our gist Claire was so friendly and welcoming she even booked a table for us at the local pub as we arrived later than we hoped due to traffic. The shower and bathroom facilities were impeccable with everything you could possibly need for a comfortable stay and they are really close to the huts.

Disliked: The only thing we would have liked to make our stay even better and it was already amazing would be tea making facilities in the shepherds hut but this is only a preference.

Liked: We had the best time!! Right from arrival, we were delighted with the stay - everything was thought about and we quickly realised we'd massively overpacked! You get real peace and quiet, your own privacy and the most incredible view. We were lucky to get two beautiful sunsets while we bbq'd too. The beds were super comfy, and there were even marshmallows (vegan provided which was extra thoughtful) with sticks for the firepit.
There was a nice pub less then ten minutes' walk away, and Claire (who was the best host) took time to chat to us, find out what we were wanting to do, and give us some great tips which we followed. Llyn Brenig is worth a wander around.
The kitchen area with games is a bonus if you're not up for bbq'ing and the food hamper was such a thoughtful touch.
We spent loads of time while we were there discussing whether to extend another night, when to come back, and who to bring with us!

Liked: A perfect little getaway. I stayed in 'the hut' which had fabulous views and was very comfortable. Claire, the host, was very welcoming and friendly. Nothing was too much trouble. The breakfast hamper was brilliant and very generous. Bathrooms, kitchen/dining area and my hut were all immaculately clean. Every little attention to detail was thought of, you could not want for a more relaxing and comfortable holiday. I will definitely return.

Disliked: Having to go home was the only down side

Liked: The shepherd’s hut was lovely and so comfortable. It had a window at one end with a view of the mountains. We had everything we needed and more. Plenty of food, stuff to have a fire, even outdoor blankets and marshmallows. Claire had thought of everything! Lovely to have chickens and alpacas for company too. Only a short drive from Betws-y-Coed and Snowdonia, and just off the A5 so easy access.

Liked: Had the most beautiful peaceful few nights stay at the hut. We enjoyed making friends with the alpacas and chickens on the site. The hut was fully equipped with everything that was needed for our stay and lots of little thoughtful gestures. The breakfast hamper was fabulous and came with lots of lovely goodies. The site itself has the most beautiful views of snowdon mountain range. Claire was a wonderful host and made us feel very welcome. Thankyou for a lovely little break away from home.

Disliked: The fact that we had to go home

Liked: We have just spent 3 lovely nights at Llwyn Onn in The Hut. As a place to stay its absolutely fantastic. The Hut was spacious enough for us both and a large Golden Retriever with everything catered for and thought of. Lots of lovely little touches that we didnt expect. The breakfast basket was plentiful for 3 mornings and the Eggs super lush. Claire is a lovely person and host who even text us in the morning when the Kingfisher arrived unfortunately was outside and missed the text and the Kingfisher grrrr. Ranger, Booboo, Django and Yogi the Alpacas are lovely as are the chickens who roam freely around the site. For positioning Llwyn Onn is perfect to travel from to Snowdonia and the various other beauty spots in and around the National Park. Highly recomended as a place to stay, you 100% will not be disappointed. Thanks for everything Claire, Chris and Di x

We had a delightful stay at the Llwyn Onn Guest House. Claire, the proprietor exuded goodwill and hospitality. She took care of every detail, down to the smallest request. We stayed in an ensuite bedroom. The smallish bathroom was equipped with every toiletry and item one could ever want, better than most hotels. The bed was comfortable, too. There was a sitting area upstairs as well as downstairs available to the guests to relax in. The surrounding countryside was entirely wonderful for an evening stroll. We went to the pub down the lane and had a delicious dinner. Claire is the hostess with the mostess. It was my favorite stop on our tour of North Wales, because it had a bit of the feeling like we'd somehow gone back in time to a quieter era when farmers lived close to the land. I do hope to go back again one day!

Liked: Claire was a fantastic host, we were constantly made to feel welcome and nothing was too much trouble. We visited the hut for my partners 30th birthday and she even did a wonderful display of Prosecco and balloons and birthday banners. The facilities are great, every need is thought of! The hut was well equipped with everything we could need, towels, robes, heater and even umbrellas! The communal area is great for cooking and playing games too!

We would definitely return in the future! Fabulous stay here and would definitely recommend!
