We stayed here for 8 days and had the whole barn to ourselves. The place is situated on top of a hill and is easily accessible from the main roads. Our satnav took us there without a glitch. Beware though, the country lanes are quite narrow and only wide enough for 1 car at a time so novice drivers may find this quite challenging. The converted eco-friendly barn is beautiful, every room was nicely decorated and rustic looking with authentic wooden flooring, beams and stone walls. The beds were very comfortable, there is a wet room in the room on the right. There is under floor heating and for those extra cold evenings a wood burner is operational. Free Wi-Fi is available. There are pigs, chickens and 2 beautiful Collies Jack and Glenn to keep the kids entertained. Rachel and Andy were great hosts, they are always friendly and conscientious. This is a perfect country hideaway, highly recommended!

Stayed here multiple times and never ever disappoints Rachel and Andy are perfect hosts the barn is cosy and full of character!! I have a better nights sleep in the beds than my own 😂 I would highly highly recommend, I will use this accommodation When I’m in the area every time 👌🏻 Thank you!

Avoid like the plague, this is certainly not luxurious accommodation as stated. The place is filthy, the cooker is extremely unhygienic including all crockery and cutlery were all unusable, to say they have seen better days is an understatement. Walls damp and plaster coming off. Shower room doesn’t drain away and spills over into the bedroom. No plug for the bath so not sure how you are meant to bathe. And the most disgusting thing of all was the soap they left out for us. Both bars had been previously used…we are in the middle of a world wide pandemic where cleanliness is meant to be paramount and we are left with pre used soap. The owner was conveniently away at the time, so only had her step daughter to complain to. No apologies for the complaint and they had the cheek to charge us for the first night... Having travelled 8 hours from Scotland, we had no choice but to stay the first night given distance we had travelled and the time of our arrival. We were out of there like a shot though once it was daylight. - Very Disapointing and still no response from the owner!
