Liked: Size of site and pitch, facilities, location, and the peace and quiet! Everyone commented on how nice the site was. Facilities were perfect and we all loved the fact that it's a small site so not noisy and never had to wait to use the toilets or showers etc. Location is perfect if you're visiting Skomer and exploring the gorgeous Pembrokeshire. Marloes is a small village with no major roads nearby...perfect for that total, blissful peace and quiet that I'm always looking for. Staff were so friendly and extremely helpful and accommodating. Also happy to help with any issues. Would highly recommend and would definitely return.

Disliked: Nothing!

Liked: Small, quiet site. Friendly staff. 10/15 min walk to spectacular beach. Sheltered and level pitches. Very clean facilities (although a little dated).

Disliked: Felt quite close to our camping neighbours. NOT THE SITE BUT village facilities very limited. The pub wasn't great and the village stores were limited and on very short opening hours. The cafe near marloes sands Runwayskiln was fantastic.

Liked: Lovely small site with well spaced pitches - we got a corner pitch which was fantastic, with its own picnic table. We asked for quiet corner pitch for my autistic son and they listened. :)
Electric and non-electric pitches available.
Centrally placed in the village of Marloes which has a small shop and post office, cafe, lively pub with lovely beer garden, and there is a lovely little business in the village which makes fresh pizzas to die for.
Close to the beaches of Marloes and Dale (watch the tides at Marloes), and close to the Dale Princess for trips to Skomer Island.
Wardens on site 24/7 who were always around to help or deal with issues.
Clean facilities with ample space for pot washing, 3 showers and 3 separate toilets plus men's toilet.
Refrigerator, freezer and microwave on site so you could store your food or heat it up, even had access to ice for my gin!
Very quiet site with no noise when we were there; school holidays hadn't officially started though there were some well behaved kids on site.

Disliked: Not dislikes, just observations:
As others have said, toilet and personal washing facilities could do with an upgrade as cubicles very narrow with tiny sinks. Blue hand towels supplied for hand washing with clear instructions for where to dispose of it but obviously some campers can't read - electric dryers would solve this problem. Only one private cabin for washing or cleaning teeth, otherwise had to use the tiny sinks in the toilets. None of this put us off going again, and I believe the site is planning an upgrade to the facilities at some point.
Did think the charge for an extra car was steep at over £50.

Liked: Friendly atmosphere, helpful wardens (thank you Ang and Kev). Showers and toilet blocks a little dated but all kept clean and worked well which is all you really need!

Enjoyed our walk to Marloes Sands which is an absolutely fantastic beach. There are lots of other great walks/views too.

Good beer and cider and the local pub. Post office does great takeaway pasties (pre-order if you can).

Liked: Very peaceful, friendly and accommodating in so many ways. We had never had an electric hook up and hadn't appreciated the connection required. Campsite staff were kind enough to lend us the necessary cables. Facilities were minimal in terms of showers and toilets, but surprisingly adequate and comfortable. Great to see freezer and fridge facilities. Great pitch sizes and well maintained. Walking distance to the beach and sea front walks. Easy 5-10 minute walk to the local dog friendly pub, which cooked reasonable food, but ensure you book a table in advance. Local grocery store only 5-10 minutes away. Fully recommended.

Disliked: Be aware, the local grocery store closes at 1pm each day.

Liked: Stayed here for 10 nights and loved the location. The campsite is maintained wonderfully, very well kept and can see why check in is later in the day as they all work super hard to maintain the site. The toilet block of 3 toilets and showers is what it is, they are hoping to refurbish it as soon as planning is granted but for now it is clean and you can get washed! It is very remote with a village shop open tues to Sunday around 9am and 1pm otherwise nearest shop for essentials we found was a londis in broad haven. Lobster pot is a good local for drink and food however short staffed so if you want food make sure to book! You can order pizza or pasta from a local Thursday to Saturday but order has to be in by 2pm on the day. Marloes Sands beach is 5min car ride or around 30min walk, a must go see!! The ice cream man can be found by the beach next to the national trust parking site, park with him in the field it’s £4 all day, with national trust site it’s £6 all day. Mr Terry the ice cream man also visits the campsite between 4.30-7pm depending on when he finishes by the beach and the weather, my children loved being able to get ice cream from him on the campsite and waiting eagerly for his chimes! A lovely extra clearly sorted between him and the owners of the campsite - lovely touch! Whilst we were on the campsite my parents also stayed in the guest house on site - again faultless and they had a comfortable night sleep and a tasty breakfast.
When visiting this campsite I would suggest make sure you have essential food / meal for first night until you can get out and source food /essentials as it is remote otherwise we had a lovely stay and Would definitely stay again if in the area! Thank you all!

Liked: Location was excellent near to Marloes sands my favourite beach in the whole area near to local village however the local cafe is currently closed but we found a short drive to Dale for a fantastic breakfast was perfect for us and could sit by the sea eating breakfast so definitely not a problem
The site was small and considering there were a lot of families it was quiet
The site was tidy and well kept
The microwave was handy to use free of charge as were the fridge and freezer to store food milk etc
They even had a washer and a drier for a small charge if your clothes get wet .
We would return to this site one day for sure .

Disliked: Mixed toilet and shower blocks

They could good with a refit as they are quite old but we always found them clean and fully equipped at all times
This was not a problem but my personal preference Is for them to be separate male and female however I’m quite new to camping so this may be the normal set up.
The area was well lit at night by an automatic light nearby if you needed to use the toilet so I felt safe at all times

Liked: Small friendly and clean campsite The wardens we’re on hand and very helpful.
There is an ice cream van that comes around each night. The pizza place close by was very nice but you needed to book in the morning to ensure you could order.
There was a pub in walking distance which was lovely but again you had to book early.

Disliked: The toilets and shower are quite dated and in need of upgrading. They are also not the most family friendly in terms of taking young children. Could do with a family shower room/toilet (I had to leave the pram outside to use the toilet).
Food close by was lovely if you book early enough but there is very little around if you don’t get there in time.
