Lovely rooms and very friendly staff…

This was our second stay at The Estuary as we were so impressed with our first visit.

This time we were allocated Room 1. This was different to our original stay in Room 3, but it did not overly worry us that there was no balcony in Room 1.

Unfortunately however, this room is located right next to the main road and every heavy goods vehicle that passed caused the room to vibrate. Sadly this continued until late at night and began again during the early morning.

This did adversely affect the quality of our sleep, but I realise that the hotel can do little to stop this.

The included breakfast was bought to our room after we had completed a request form the previous evening. It was to a very high quality and plenty of choice was available - including a very generous gluten free option which included a choice of alternative milks.

Thank you for a warm welcome by all of the team - including the lovely lady who bought the breakfast to our room who recognised us from our last visit and warmly welcomed us back.

Picked this venue as it was close to a wedding venue we were going to.
The food was excellent.
The room was clean, it had its own balcony.
Temperature in the room was a bit up and down.
Nice bottle of water.

Downside, no hand rail in the bath to hold onto when after having a shower, walls very slippery. Towel rail very Hot!

We've eaten twice in the Bar and the Tapas menu is varied and excellent quality. Also offers value for money 💰 Will be calling again soon. PS I highly recommend the deep fried Cockles 😋

Really nicely decorated and even though it was full to the brim, it never got too loud. Staff were efficient and friendly and the food was gorgeous. We had a huge range between the three of us and there wasn't a single dish that we didn't like. It's an added bonus that GGs ice cream is next door for dessert.

Booked to stay here as a last minute night away and it was perfect! Staff on arrival were very helpful and polite! The room was beautiful, sea themed which was lovely! Sleeping area and bath room were both extremely clean, which is what you always want! We got settled and head down to GG’s for look and left with one of their delicious gelatos! Very lovely, huge portions and also great price! We had a walk along the estuary edge which is very scenic! For the evening they offered a tapas menu. The indoor seating was limited but they had additional seating outside or in the gazebo with heaters so we sat outside for our food which came within an ideal fast time and was all very tasty! In the morning we were offered breakfast to be brought to our room or the option of eating downstairs. We chose it downstairs and when arriving at 9am it was already set up and waiting for us! The lady who served us offered us a hot drink and made us feel very welcome always checking to see if we needed anything more! Overall experience was fantastic and would recommend to anyone wanting a short trip to unwind!
