This little cottage was exactly as described. As though it was untouched since being built, so it has a lot of original features and fittings. Its ideally placed to tackle Snowdon or, just over the hill from the path at the side of the house, the Glyders.. A short steep path to the cottage from the road could be driven, but a pinch point means a SUV cant get up, you may in a small narrow car though. However, it could have done with a clean as others have mentioned. Appreciate its hard to keep a rustic mountain cottage spotless, (and where i have stayed in worse,) but leaving a mouldy cold baked potatoe in the oven from a previous tenant shows that it hadnt been cleaned sufficiently inbetween guests. Other than that, we enjoyed our stay here.

Loved it .......we had the high winds....rain .......hail ......snow ............ The storms had dislodged the water supply from the waterfall.....so off i went up the mountain to re-syphon the water supply. Scenery was breathtakingly beautiful and once we mastered how to get log burning damp logs into action the place is outstandingly cosy. Yep it's a step back in time if you like your home comforts but we wouldn't have changed a thing about the place. Cannot recommend the property enough ....thoroughly thoroughly enjoyed it ..❤
