From the moment you enter the shop you are wisked away to a more upmarket traditional store that has a very unique selling point of having items with a traditional flavour such as their wonderful collection of Moulini Rory or hand knitted toys to table cloths, tea towels and bed linen.

We popped into what looked like a stunning, wee linen place. Female behind counter was cold, unresponsive, darn rude and as such, we left with nothing which is unfortunate, as l wanted to spend a good deal on such lovely things. I can't remember feeling so angry and looked down on by this person. We live in Edinburgh, and so this hard-faced bee was someone l haven't ever experienced in my 64 years of retail exploration. What a pity for the owners

Lovely shop with excellent selection! They carry the most beautiful linens and scents. From napkins to bedding to luggage and makeup cases, from an adorable children’s selection from pajamas to toys, from unique candles, soaps, fragrances - always worth popping in

This business hired me when I was a student to work in the Brighton branch, which has now unsurprisingly closed. The store manager (woman with dark hair, who told everyone she didn’t like the taste of water) hired me as a store assistant, but instead I was made to constantly clean the shop (a lot of mirror & glass shelving) and iron their cotton percale sheets for minimum wage. When a difficult situation arose with a customer - quite often people try to give back soiled sheets and get a refund because the cotton “wasn’t soft enough” - she blamed me for the fact that this woman would not leave the shop until she got a refund. A great example of a leader actively supporting their team. Working here was a pretty horrible experience and I really hope the treatment, especially of younger staff is better than what I experienced.
