“lost” or had issues with part of the order. Even though this time round I called them yesterday (Tuesday) and was told the full order was arriving on Thursday (mattress and bed base). At 3.30 pm Wednesday I get an email telling me there is still no mattress. I then spent over 20 minutes trying to get through to avoid being shouted at by their delivery people at 7 am trying to deliver a bed with no mattress (another chapter in this awful tale). Wish I had never handed over my money. Now trying to get my money back. They don’t deserve one star in my opinion. Also it takes ages to get through on the phone.
They then finally agreed after 10 minutes to take the old bed away however they then put the new bed in the bedroom and said that they wouldn’t be putting it together I explained that the paperwork was clearly wrong and they should be put in the bed together and they refused and walked out the address and got in the van and drove away.
The whole interaction was captured on our CCTV which I will be putting on YouTube under the title Benson beds are inept and rude.
I should add as well that the previous week the bed was due to be delivered and I waited in for it and didn’t turn up however I got a phone call from the delivery guys saying that they were stood outside of the wrong address and when I asked if they could deliver the bed they said no it’s no They only have this address And I would need to contact the customer services and then they hung up.
I would never use Benson beds again in fact only this morning I’ve just been to furniture village and place an order for a Hypnos mattress and matching bed the staff were great and I have no doubt that the delivery will be good having ordered sofas from them in the past.
After an hour trying to contact customer services we got through to be told "mattress will be delivered on 1st December" bearing in mind since the 16 October we received email's saying "it was on time" mean wile we contacted the Hedge end store as usual they know nothing.
1st December still no mattress spend over 1 hour trying to contact customer services again to be told 1 minute that there's a shortage of materials then next minute that it was waiting in warehouse to be delivered, by this time im ready to explode to then be told that it wot be delivered until 10th January..... Now benson's You are taking the p*@#s....
You are a joke no one wanted to help resolve this you just hoped we would suck this up and just wait for you to bumble your way thruogh this till it was delivered even when we visited the store today (1st December) no one was interested in this situation no resolve no looking into it further all they could say "sorry" well went to Dreams and got a mattress being delivered on 10th...
Dont wast you're time with these clowns all they will do is fob you off with p*@s poor excuses and hope you just wait
Avoid Avoid Avoid Avoid..... Do yourself a favor and go to Dreams at least they know wot they have in stock and know when they can deliver it..... Thank you DREAMS for doing what benson's can't...
