Bensons for Beds

Staff altitude is horrible they don't care about customer service!!
The store manager promised to arrange for collection of my old bed with mattress before the new bed and mattress was delivered.
I took a day off only to be dissapointed wasted my time explaining myself to Paul the manager who was suppose to have arranged for old bed and mattress to be collected before the new one was delivered.
Instead a new bed was delivered but I could not receive it since I have no Storage.
After all that hassles I asked for refund only to be told I would lose 20%.dissapointed.

The staff are better than the manager, she is so loud and wanted to give us a very dodgy cash only delivery service, when asked if they have insurance he started shouting over the phone.
I gave it two starts and not one just because one of the employees before was a very nice and professional lady.

Very disappointed with the Clima Control Latex Ortho Mattress and with the customer service at Bensons for Beds!
First of all, the layer of latex is only 1 cm, and it does not provide the ultimate support that this mattress advertises.
My husband and I previously bought a cheaper mattress online, that lasted 2 good years before it sagged. So, we decided to invest in a "better" one: "the Clima Control Latex Ortho Mattress", highly recommended by Bensons. However, from week one, we noticed that this mattress started to have indentations on each side of the bed and I kept waking up at night with the odd feeling of falling and terrible lower back pain and the same thing happened to my husband. Although we have rotated the mattress every week, we do not feel any difference, on the contrary, the mattress is getting worse and worse. The middle part is still firm, and that makes the mattress very uncomfortable to sleep.
We called the support, who asked us to send an email with our complaint and to detail the problem. We received a response after almost two weeks. The technician was booked and we had a holiday planned. So, when the technician finally came to see the mattress, he mentioned that there was a gap in the middle of our bed frame, even if the problem is not the middle of the bed, and he said that the mattress hasn't sagged enough to be exchanged or to consider it faulty. I explained to him that more than sagging, it has created indentations from each side, not the middle of the bed. He also suggested we buy a pegboard, to help the mattress. After two weeks, we finally received a reply from Bensons for Beds blaming our bed and apologizing for not being able to do anything for us.
This situation has become a nightmare. The mattress is awful and it has caused us terrible back pain, and now we have to include in our bill weekly appointments to the chiropractic, which I mentioned to the technician, a peg board, and a mattress topper to help us sleep without ruining our backs.
The bottom line is never buy anything from Bensons for Bed, it is very poor service and very bad customer support, and the the Clima Control Latex Ortho Mattress is a scam.

I did not realise that the men coming would not enter the house and carry the beds upstairs, due to COVID-19. It would have been good to have been informed in advance, so I could make arrangements myself as the delivery was too heavy/large) for a single person to do this.

The delivery men jut dumped the beds in the flat and went.We have actually paid for assembly but that was not done.
Very disappointing.

We had a great experience here, the sales assistant Alex who helped us was extremely knowledgeable about the product, range and mattress types and extremely helpful and kind especially to my elderly mother. Great experience.

I found the service to be really good and Junior who served us was very patient and explained all of the options very clearly to us.
