Bensons for Beds Redhill

I purchased two beds from you a showroom bed which we were assured would be cleaned but wasn’t and the mattress was so hard it was unusable. The second bed was a large single otterman bed and we had to wait around four months for delivery. When this bed arrived one of the base sections was wrong and the bed could not be put together correctly. We now need to wait a further three weeks for this to be sorted out and delivered. There was also some damage on the head board material and a very disappointed daughter after waiting so long.

Have been trying to get through to the Redhill store this afternoon and have been calling for the last 15/20 minutes.
Annoyingly they are leaving the phone to ring on constant.
Shame because the customer service in person has been generally good.

Update: I received a call back from a very friendly member of staff who dealt with my query promptly. She informed me that she was on her own and dealing with a customer at the time of my missed calls.

Small store but had what we wanted so the whole thing tookmus about 10 minutes. Nice friendly staff and very A-B.

The experience of choosing a mattress at Bensons Redhill was relaxing ( especially as I tried many mattresses which were cleaned each time) as the assistant was helpful without being pushy and had very good knowledge of the beds. Although there was a wait of several weeks before delivery which may be due to the current situation I am very pleased with my mattress and had a good sleep last night. The delivery men were on time and courteous.

I scored you 7 because a few days after we purchased a mattress from you, you were selling the same one with £80 off.
If anyone asked me would I recommend buying from you I would say "go and choose what you want from the store, then keep an eye on the website until you see it reduced. You may not have to wait long."

Estimated deliver 7.30 -9.30 am but delivered at approx 5.15 pm. A waste of a whole day at the busiest time of year. I know there was a problem when the delivery van broke down but I wasn't kept informed. I telephoned the Customer Service Centre and told nothing but they would deliver my bed. The delivery man phoned at 3.20 pm and told me that they would arrive in an hours time. At 4.30pm they ran again and told me they would be with me in 3/4 hour. They arrived at 5.15 and delivered my bed leaving muddy footmarks over my bedroom carpet. They left without taking my old bed and frame. I telephoned them and insisted that they return which they did a while later. They then said they were only taking the mattres when I had paid for removal of the bed. Whilst they were chatting on their phones to their friends. I lifted the bed frame out of the garage and put it by their van. I then went inside and left them to it!

The friendly staff(John and Anil) are so welcoming and always answer and cover all the bases and you can’t get better than that! Three years ago I got a bed from John and I returned again to get another one from him!
