Sharps Bedrooms

Small but nice show room. I agreed to a consultation for a new a built-in wardrobe. The lady inside seemed shocked. When the 'designer' turned up I could see why. He waved his tape measure around, drew a box on some grid paper and told me that was the wardrobe design. He then started tapping his calculator telling me which made-up 'discounts' I qualified for. He clearly didn't design anything and in no way consulted with me about what I needed. The design was so terrible and basic it was childlike. He's been working there for 18years! He told me it would be about £3k for the built-in and if I didn't agree and sign the paperwork immediately, while he was in my house, none of the various discounts would apply. Typical pressure sale.

The whole thing was a joke and a waste of time. These salesmen must think we are stupid! I can get it cheaper online without the 80s approach to sales. I sent him away without a cup of tea!

I expected more from Sharps. They need to get with the times and provide a great service and experience that beats online. Get rid of the pressure salesmen and provide a customer centred experience.

Will never use them again and recommend everyone avoids, especially those who might be vulnerable.

Brilliant shop and staff. I wasn’t sure what I wanted at first but after specking to the staff I came away with everything I dreamed of.

Reasonable priced, clean and lots to choose from.

Sharps are absolutely awful. Extremely poor service and would never ever use this company again and would definitely never recommend. Do not waste your money!!

Excellent quality product, but the display room could be a bit bigger

The fitting was good everything to plan ,but when we called in th have an over the bed light fixed we had a big problem.
I was very ill at the time and spent most of my time in bed. With the repair man coming I had to get up.
Little did I know he was rifling through my jewellery box taking all my sentimental rings passed down from my grandmother and mother. The police said I had no proof and there was no fingerprints left. My word against his. Do be careful don’t leave the workman alone. This happened some years ago but you never get over the loss.

Fitting was unbelievably poor (doors not straight or flush, holes drilled in wrong places, sealant all over ceiling, walls chipped and damaged all over the room, faulty parts fitted etc etc etc). I would call it an amateur job, but it was actually far worse than any amateur could have managed. Customer service were also completely pathetic when attempting to resolve the issues mentioned above. Don’t be fooled by the designer & surveyor being pleasant, professional & knowledgable like we were - avoid at all costs.
