Was in Croydon for work, and was seduced in by the 'good beer' here sign (simple can be best!). The sign was right, great selection of beer, friendly informed staff, good music and a trendy feel-good atmosphere. Loved it. Went back twice!

Updated review! The bar has definitely improved over the years. Wonderful staff, great selection of beers and always have a rare (expensive) stout in the fridge! Just to my liking. It's always a pleasure coming here for a beer!

Popped in here for a drink today, Sunday lunchtime, and after a couple of drinks fancied some food. We had one the THE best tasting roasts I’ve had in a long time from their new BBQ food truck in the beer garden (The Dragon Flame). The options were beef & pork (we both had beef) and both come with veg, roasts potatoes, Yorkshire’s and enough delicious gravy to sink a ship. Well priced for the quality and the portion size. Amazing roast, we’ll be back!!

The staff and atmosphere will make you keep coming back. It's an awesome place. Owen is especially great and I highly recommend you check it out. Worth travelling to from outside Croydon!

Nice craft bar, but the prices are sky high.
My pint of 4.2% Hackney Hopster was £5.80. I voted with my feet. Why don’t pubs display their prices. Are they embarrassed?

Fab setup to ensure covid spacing and outdoor seating. Great beers. Street space used late evenings for tables and that's the way it should be. Much nicer, calm and cool place.

Simply the best craft beer place in Croydon. The selection is rich and gets updated regularly. Atmosphere and service are great, prices are fair.

First beer bar I've ever been to that doesn't serve tasters.

Excuse was "we lost so much money over covid" - you have a brewery and a thriving shop in Streatham I went to during lockdown.1.

Got saddled with 2/3 toffee apple sour from Laine guilted upon me by the poor lad at the bar - sour sweet perfumed vinegar.

Not sure what I'm upset about - Laine's continued frivolous attempts at brewing or art & crafts shamelessness. It's a Thursday and it's dead so why would you not give a taster?
