I called as a last minute decision to go for a bike ride in the forest with the kids during half term. The team were very pleasant to deal with, informative and helpful. The bikes were perfectly adequate for what we wanted to use them for. I asked for a phone holder and downloaded the app for directions. Would strongly recommend anyone does this, it made navigation so easy and we made it to the pub for a pit stop without getting lost! I was also equipped with a backpach with puncture repair bits should the need arise before we set off. The only (hopefully constructive) criticism I could offer is that the saddles weren't the comfiest. I would struggle to use the bike for a full day's cycling without feeling too sore by the end. Thank you Cyclex, we had a brilliant afternoon ride.

Called in the evening 1 day before my planned ride as I had an issue with my bike and their helpful staff made sure to set me up with exactly what I needed. The size I needed was in for repairs and not due in time for my ride but they went above and beyond to repair it in time so that I had the right bike in the right size. Quick and easy pick up and drop off too. Will be using them again next time I’m in the area!

I have used Cycle Experience many times in the past and always found them excellent, hence my return. But sadly this will be my last time.
I booked a dog trailer this time as well as 2 bikes. Neither bike was checked they were correct for us, our height etc which has definitely been done when I previously have hired them. But the dog trailer was appalling, nothing I had ever seen before whilst riding in the forest or today in fact. I can only describe it as a vet carry case on wheels. It was cumbersome and the racket it made on the off road gravel tracks was nothing short of horrendous. My poor dog was so distressed and I was completely stressed out by the entire experience.
I returned both bikes after going 1.5 miles up the road.
When returning them, not even an apology when I explained my disappointment.

Good setup here for these guys, nice bike and route chat too. Nice gravel bike for 2 days, perfect for 40+ miles a day all terrain touring. Impressed by the comfort of this model too. Top marks 👌

Great place. All the employees were extremely helpful and informative. Great map of Cycle paths and free app worth downloading. Rent from Cyclexperience. Conveniently located across from Brockenhurst Railway and easy link up to New Forest trails! I’ll go there again for sure!

Hired a gravel bike for the weekend as my road bike had a mechanical. The bike was in great condition, the staff were very helpful and it came with a decent kit & backpack just in case of punctures. They also provide locks and routes but I didn’t need them this time. Will definitely use them again. Thanks!!

Great experience booking in person. Patient and attentive staff and bike was well-suited and sized. The app is great, paper maps also available. Will definitely recommend, and revisit if I’m lucky enough to be back!

Sooo recommended! We travelled from Hertfordshire to New Forest just to do this and we loved it. We did the Balmer Lawn route and we had plenty of time left so we did a bit of the Ornament Woods route too (we ended up so tired).
The place was easy to find and we parked our car just a couple of minutes away (at the station) and it cost us only £4 all day.
We arrived there and our bikes were ready outside (we booked online) and the guy helped us to get equipped.
