I love this bike shop - I've had both of my bikes serviced here now and the results have been fantastic. What I also really like is that they call you throughout if there's any changes to what was discussed and keep you informed on what will happen and the pricing. My bikes run better than when I first bought them! If you're in SE London this is the best place to go for any kind of bike help.

Can't rate this cycle shop highly enough. Excellent service, highly skilled mechanics, well priced. Just had my 10 year old Brompton serviced and it rides like a new bike again. Worth booking for a service as they are (rightly) popular.

Thanks Rat Race, you fixed my disc brake issue after an attempted theft. I had taken it to another shop but they did not manage to get my bike back in working order like you did. Great service :)

Amazing service and true professionals. Very responsive, courteous and above all communicated well during the service on both bikes. I cannot recommend them enough. Its the 2nd time I've used them and was not disappointed. They are busy for a reason.

Never been to this shop before but the young man there gave me two inner tubes so l could secure the fish l bought from Soper’s to my bike when l forgot my rucksack; care in the community~well done and thank you again 😀👍🚴‍♂️

These guys did a great job fitting mudguards on my Genesis Flyer after a number of other shops told me that it wasn’t possible due to the position of the breaks. The prices was very reasonable, service quick and friendly. Highly recommended!

Rat Race Cycles has been my local bike shop since Pete first opened and he and his team have cared for and maintained my two bikes faultlessly over the years. When it came to a wheel upgrade recently after 12 years of good service from some ageing Fulcrum Racing 1s - I decided to go for the personal touch and asked Pete to build me some good aluminum climbing wheels and to go light. What he delivered under his wheels building moniker 'Owens Wheels' , have really surpassed my expectations! Under stated without bling but beautifully engineered and hand built up by Pete they weigh with just 1270 grams with truly lovely Italian 'Extralite' Hubs. They spin up effortlessly and of course the reduced weight helps up hills but what I was not expecting was how the ride was transformed downhill at speed. The bike feels so planted to the road and wills you to go faster with confidence. I would urge anyone considering a wheel upgrade to talk to him first. Thanks Pete!
