The RockStone workshop

I've never felt so disappointed and frustrated in my life. Took 2 of my bikes to be repaired over the weekend and thought they'd get the job done. Boy was I wrong. I paid £140 for nothing. I was robbed. My bikes were in a worse condition from when I first took it there. I would rather walk for the rest of my life than take my bike to this place. 0/10. Owners are really nice people that's about it. I would highly recommend people to not use this workshop.

Great service I got in a short time and whole team was so friendly and helped me in any way possible to get the bike repaired with a excellent price.

I didn't know this at the time I was there as it was my first time getting a spoke from a bike shop but now I know that £2.50 for one spoke is a total rip-off.

I am confused with the owner's response... I went to the shop to buy one spoke. They sold me just the spoke for £2.50. There was no labour involved. I didn't even bring my bicycle.

They were just great! I'd found myself down the road in need of getting my tires pumped before cycling home and they helped me do that and adjust my steer and saddle as well. Super friendly and helpful.

WONDERFUL & GENUINE!!!

I bought a bike off of Amazon and took it Halfords to put together who charged me a fortune and told me that they are delayed. Went to see Mr Rockford and the staff and not only did they do it on the same day in, I saved 30%!!!

Also great costumer service, had a great chat whilst my bike was getting fixed, would definitely recommend them.

I want to first say that RockStone is a positive, friendly, community-driven and well-priced place. However I really haven't had the best experience unfortunately! I had my bike refitted with a chain, chain ring, crank arm, pedals and handlebar grip for a reasonable 65 quid. However I do feel much of it was rushed and not done properly. For instance the handlebar grip started to undo within days. The crank arm came off within a week (they did repair it for free but the problem is persisting), and one of the pedals has now come off too. Both of these incidents have happened when I was out and about and really put me in a spot of bother. I did not want to write this review but feel that I have to given the number of problems I have experienced, especially considering how soon they have occurred after having the bike looked at. I do feel really disappointed because I was so hopeful when I stumbled across you guys at RockStone, and do really like the approach and atmosphere you harvest, but I really feel like my bike has more problems now than when I dropped it off with you, which should never really be the case! I hope you understand that I write this review with the intent of it being constructive, and that I want you guys to succeed, but with the sheer amount of problems I've had with the bike, so soon after having it looked at, I just can't not express my disappointment. I wish you the best with your shop in the future.

Excellent, prompt repair and friendly bunch too!

These guys did me a very quick turnaround on some reasonably significant repairs / replacements (including a new crank) on my bike, while keeping me informed of what was involved the whole way.

Bike actually feels better than it did new. Cheers guys.

My partner and I both bought second hand bikes from Mr. Rockford. They were great quality and a really fair price. All staff were friendly and professional. Will definatly be returning when my bike needs a service.
