A proper independent bike shop, and a great one too. Extremely knowledgeable, very helpful, courteous, and patient. This is not some massive faceless shed (as in Halfrauds, who sell cheap Chinese tat, bodged assembly, which doesn't comply with the required British Standard for cycles), and so may not have every range and type of bike - but what they do have is quality products, and a high level of trusted and reliable expertise.

Very highly recommended, without pressure or stress to make unnecessary purchases.

Went here for the first time by chance after a couple of other local shops were closed. The guy who served me, sorry didn't catch his name was very friendly, knowledgeable and upfront. Had all the bits in stock and gave some (much needed) advice on fitting etc. Very pleased - will definitely be returning.

I've been taking bikes for repair to Borwell nearly thirty years. He always works to a reasonable timescale and only charges as is right for the job. Knows his tuff and also very helpful with getting bikes in and out car. Most cyclists I know at this end of Norwich use Borwell. Great little old fashioned bike shop.

Decided during this difficult period,I was going to go for a bike ride, hadn't used the bike for ages, found the front brake had seized , rang them up to see if they were open, dropped the bike off at 12.30, picked it up an hour later all done, even my tyres had been inflated to the correct pressure. And I found the price very fair, would definitely recommend and will be going back more myself now.

Took my bike here yesterday to get it repaired and it was fixed and ready for me the next morning, very happy with the service and advice, will be returning again for any future work that needs doing.

Really good service and prices from here, also managed to turn my bike around same day. Would highly recommend.

After spending £94 over the last few days on bike seats, lights and locks for mine and my wife's bikes, I get a puncture in my back tire. I walk the bike down to the shop as I've never changed a tire before and the guy says he can't help. Sells me the inner-tube and tire and then very briefly goes through how to do it before going out the back again. If you are a new bike owner and have no idea about bikes, don't go to this shop. Find somewhere else. I'm not happy about the whole situation.
