I bought my my bike from Alan 4 years ago, and have had it serviced regularly ever since, always excellent service and reasonably priced. He always keeps me informed of what has been done and what needs doing in the future, shares anecdotes and is always ready with hints and tips for better riding, top man! I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him to anyone.

With the intent of keeping things local, I went to find out about a small issue with my bike. This is the second time, but on each occasion the service has been a little abrupt. The positive reviews on here gave me confidence...maybe I've just had bad luck. Clearly respected locally as the amount of bikes to service was impressive.

Hopefully I'll get some improvements upon booking a service and the stars increase.

During the 2nd lockdown I did get the bike in and fixed. Service was better too so it deserve one more star 🌟

I just popped around to get some advice for an ebike and have a look at some of his stock. I knocked on the back door and the owner opened up. I was looking for some help but all I got was a patronising, arrogant, condescending and rude attitude from the owner. I cannot for the life of me understand why he has a shop. He welcomed me and my business like a dose of plague !!! DO NOT SHOP HERE. There are decent people who deserve your money. I’d give no stars if I could !

Terrific service, wonderful bloke who runs the repair place (entrance at rear), fixed a puncture I discovered which could have spoiled our day. Sorted it quickly and great value. Highly recommended for all cyclists who need help in and around Maldon. Also a cracking bike shop at the front. Thank you.

Fantastic Service just received from this lovely bike shop, Quite a small repair but I couldn't do it and the lovely gentleman took care of it within 10 minutes. I drove 44 miles to use this bike shop as I went here today based on on perfect service received about 18 months ago form the same gentleman. A+ on both occasions, thank you to this lovely independent bike shop

Was able to book bike in at very short notice for a fix to the brakes and it was done very speedily and professionally.
