I recently purchased the Vision Team 35 Comp SL Clincher Road Wheelset and as ever, received fantastic service from the Merlin team. I had a few questions prior to making the purchased so called and had a helpful conversation. The wheels arrived next day, well packaged, and in perfect working order. Thanks Merlin :-)

Sold me a bike frame as new, it arrived clearly used with some damage and missing small parts. Contacted them via email about it and they have been slow to respond, want me to front the money to send it back, and aren't realistic about shipping rates (they wanted me to ship a frame back in a wheel box to make it cheaper, frames don't fit in wheel boxes...). Don't be fooled by the good prices, you pay for it in quality and service.

Works great for ordering to the US! Received my wheels perfectly packaged in original packing in just three days with free FEDEX expedited shipping. Great prices as well. Will definitely use Merlin Cycles again.

I encountered a problem with a pricey mini pump that I had purchased about 2 years ago. I sent it back for inspection (it was covered by manufacturers 7 year warranty) and a replacement was sent without any fuss and in good time.
Straightforward understanding of customer needs and good service.

My saddle from Merlin cost a third less than other bike shops. Received my item very quick. Would recommend Merlin no problem. Cheers.

Recently purchased a Shimano 12 Speed road bike Di2 Groupset from Merlins. Best price available , and was delivered promptly to RSA. Excellent service...

I ordered two bikes.

Overall the quality was excellent.

They did send different saddles to advertised and they could do with doing what other bike shops do and put the bars on and turn them sideways. Dangling handlebars damaged the cable outer.

Credit to them they sent me another and some bar tape so could fix it myself.

Delivery on the bikes was 2 weeks. Bits and pieces I've ordered usually come in a couple of days.

Just to add the loyalty scheme thing is a bit misleading. Its upto 15% discount, unless a bigger discount is already applied.

However, pretty much every product has a large (and misleading) discount already applied. Nowhere sells the items at the quoted "original" price, so you'll never benefit from your loyalty.

All in all, I'll use them again. Despite the small issues, they are good value and good quality.

Merlin Cycles website is easy to use and reliable. Having ordered my tyres and inner tubes I received a confirming e-mail, update e-mails and advice on tracking the goods. The items took longer than usual to arrive, but I have put that down to the strikes in the postal service at the time. Always a good experience dealing with Merlin Cycles.
