Rossendale Blinds

Very poor aftercare service, we took accurate measurements into the shop in metres which the manager converted into inches incorrectly. We realised once fitting that 3m28cm had been written down by the shop as 3028 mm leaving the blind too short. We called the shop to discuss to be told we had signed the order and that she wasn't a blind measurer! We asked how we move forward to resolve to be told if we paid another £120 she would be happy to replace. Bearing in mind the cost originally was £140. You enter a shop expecting them to be capable of knowing measurements ...... clearly not in this case, so best advice either don't buy or make sure you measure in millimetres!!!

coponte11,Firstly you were not the named customer on the invoice, also We have requested to Google, that this totally untrue account of your experience in our Showroom that took place over 2 months ago to be removed unless you remove it yourself. We are not afraid for the general public to read this
Secondly YOUR measurements were incorrect and you said that they were in millimetres not centimetres, but in our opinion they just did not seem right for a large patio door, we asked you more than once if you were confident that your measurements were correct, We did not as you said write down the order in INCHES, your blinds were ordered exactly as you wrote on your paper. If you recall I phoned your friend (who's name was on the order!)a few minuets after you all left the showroom as we were concerned that your measurements were incorrect and your reply that she relayed to us was "yes they are correct". but as you know they were NOT correct. We did however explain to you again more than once that it is our policy that a customer is aware of the consequences of supplying incorrect measurement is the customers own risk.
So how dare you try to shift the blame on to us!! especially when we were offering you a solution to cut your losses and reorder in the correct size for cost price!! You sir are a disgrace and a liar, we will take this further if necessary, unfortunately it will be your friend Vicky that will be involved as it is her details that we have on record.

Good selection of blinds at reasonable prices with measuring and fitting service included. Well worth a look.
