ps one very happy customer.
During the whole lockdown period I had no contact from them which is understandable, however, when I eventually had my blinds installed, the engineer told me that he had been working the throughout lockdown non-stop. I found this extremely annoying as I had a newborn baby in the house and we had been self isolating. We had been three months without any blinds in house.
In my newborn baby’s room, I had ordered two sets of blinds. A venetian style blind for the daytime with a blackout roller in front to ensure darkness. After a few days it was obvious the “blackout blinds” were clearly not black out as advertised...even with a second set of blind’s behind them.
I contacted the blind company and was told the director would come out to take a look between 12-1pm, this time slot was agreed because I explained my baby may be napping. The director of the company, Keith, turned up before 10am. My baby was asleep. I told him he would have to wait roughly 5-10 mins for him to wake up. His response was “ i’ll just pop into the room quietly (with no mask or anything). After being told this wasn’t acceptable I just explained the issue to him whilst standing at the door and was told I won’t be refunded as they do not do refunds.
After telling him that was fine and I’d gladly go to court to get my money back he then cockily replied “I tell you what, when your child wakes up, you remove the blinds yourself and drop them off to us at the warehouse and we’ll give you a refund then” all whilst leaning against my car!!
I found the customer service and professionalism (or lack of) from this company and the director (Keith) to be absolutely disgusting and I will not be recommending or having any work done by them again in the future.
I’m appalled at how I was treated, especially after giving them three whole houses worth of business within six months. What an absolute joke. If this is how they treat their customers, I would advise people strongly to avoid.
I am a real perfectionist and I honestly can’t fault the work which has been carried out (not often said). We live in an old property with abnormal dimensions and the blinds fit perfectly. They have a quality feel for a sensible price.
I will 100% be recommending their skills to anyone in need.
