Returning to college cruisers for a break was a seriously good idea. They are great quality & well maintained boats on this beautiful stretch of water. The team are on hand and helpful from the first contact when booking until drop off at the end of the trip. Thank you for a relaxing time. (the perfect Covoid break, vertically no contact with other humans!)

We left our narrowboat in the care of College Cruisers and their boat sitting service while we attended a family event. When we got back to our boat home it was fuelled, water was topped up, gas bottle exchanged and they even received delivery of our new inverter for us. Absolutely brilliant service. Highly recommended.

I have just returned from my first ever Canal boat holiday with my partner that we booked over the August bank holiday weekend.. The experience was better than I ever imagined, the boat was perfect for the 2 of us and very well equipped with what we needed. The scenery was out of this world and has to be the most relaxing break I have ever had. We were also very grateful to get a last minute booking too as this was a very last minute trip. I would certainly do this again and would highly recommend this type of holiday. Thank you so much College Cruisers!

Six of us have just had 4 days on Exeter, one of College Cruisers' narrow boats.
We were introduced to the boat, took a short training trip, and then pottered up the Oxford Canal.
College Cruisers could not have been more helpful and approachable, the boat was well equipped and performed really well. We had a brilliant time.

Just a short trip of a few days up to the top of the Thames. The boat was great and we all had a fantastic time. We’ll be back 🙂

Just back from a week onboard Trinity. The boat was spotless when we boarded and unlike previous experiences the kitchen was very well equipped. Although the freezer was great the fridge didn't manage so well, so watch the milk! Maybe it was because we turned the electrics off when the engine was not on? Anyway a very minor niggle. A particular great feature of the boat is the front hatch that pulls back far enough to enjoy dinner alfresco! The welcome pack from CC was superb and the detailed maps were a real help. The customer service was second to none and we can't wait to come back. Thank you!! Rob

This was the third time as a family we had hired a narrow boat, the first time was on the Norfolk Broads, second was on the Llangollen Canal, this time was the Oxford canal.
Hiring our boat ‘Exeter’ from College Cruisers was an easy experience, done through the website with a few follow up emails. The boat is a 65’ cruiser stern narrow boat, we went for the two double room setup, there are a couple of other setups unto one that sleeps 10.
Exeter is well appointed and because there was only 4 of us we were able to leave the dining table up as well as leave the TV seating area, it must be noted that the TV reception along the canal was non-existent apart from when we were close to Oxford, not that this is a problem as we weren’t there to watch the TV.
The middle bedroom is permanently made up but the front cabin needs to be made up each night, bearing this in mind the front cabin (ours) had a very comfortable bed.
We had a great week cruising on the Oxford, a very pretty canal with locks, sections of river and plenty of bank side interest.
I would happily recommend College Cruisers.
