As I and my 3 family members got on this boat there was a bacon sandwich just sat on the roof without a plate. The greeting from the lady was kind but I was also greeted with the smell of urine as I entered the boat, looking around the boat was full of junk and nothing was clean. Now to the afternoon tea, the drinks served in dirty mugs. On the main platter there was Sandwiches that were toasted in a way that they had been left out in the sun for an hour, 3 slices of cucumber , 1 slice of iceberg lettuce, 5 shreds of carrot and 2 handfuls of cheeze it crackers. One of the tier stands had shop bought carrot cake and scones. The other tier stand had on it, 2 quarters of a quiche, 3 mini satay skewers, 2 cocktail sausages, 4 cheese straws. The final thing was a packet of pombears split between 4.

All in all I didn’t want to eat anything as it was dirty and poor quality and laughably so.

Disappointing

We enjoyed our boat trip so much. We also had a lovely tea of scones and sandwiches. We are looking forward to going again soon.

What a lovely morning. The price is unbelievable for what you get. Chrissy is a wonderful captain who went above and beyond and kept my children engaged in conversation and I can’t wait to support her business more

Fancy a cup of tea somewhere different ? You will always remember this place, lovely food and drink and right in the city centre and they also do boat trips & you can also get fish & chips on the boat whilst you go through the city, we aim to do this soon

Today was our second trip out on this wonderful little barge. Both our trips have been absolutely brilliant and very enjoyable.
Christine is so kind and nothing is too much trouble.
Our first booking had to be altered due to illness and Chris was so obliging about this. Then today we were a little late arriving and again she was so wonderfully understanding.
The afternoon tea was great and my elderly parents, sister and I loved the novelty of eating whilst watching the swans and people go by, and enjoying our short cruise just on our own, which made the whole experience extra special.
Today’s trip with my grandson and cousins was equally special and we loved every minute of it (including the duck impressions! 😂😂)
Thank you so very much Christine and Co.
We’ll most definitely be back soon.

My wife and 2 kids went on this quirky little boat. We loved it, food was good enough for the price. Trip was nice and smooth. Lady at the helm was helpfull, cheerful and chatty. Price was £22 for 1tea 1 coffee 2kids drinks. Chips, sausage rolls, sandwiches and crisps.
3 scones with jam and cream. And a chug chug on the boat for 3/4 hour.
Charged us £20.00 as she didn't have change for £30. Well worth it and will return next year for a similar experience.
