Scholars Punting

Loved our punting tour with Sebastian! Sebastian was very knowledgeable, funny and full of charm when explaining all of the history of the various colleges and other buildings as we punted down the river. Would highly recommend the punting tour to anybody in Cambridge, we will certainly be doing it again and would recommend you ask for Sebastian!

We had a very pleasant punting tour guided by Sebastian. Learned so many interesting facts about the colleges in Cambridge especially the ones located next to the river. This is definitely one of the highlights of our visit to Cambridge - highly recommend it!

Jake was super helpful, friendly, fun, and knew all his stuff - gave us a wonderful tour of Cambridge whilst smoothly punting through the river. He also kept checking to ensure if we were having a nice time and encouraged us to ask any questions. Additionally, kindly offered to click photos of us and took some amazing ones. Definitely went over and above to provide an exceptional customer experience!

Excellent price and location. Started at the scheduled time, and our punter was a skilled navigator. He was a friendly gentleman and was engaging, and will be top notch with a little more of the history & lore of Cambridge.

I went on a shared tour with my friends and loved the scenery. Our guide Jack was absolutely amazing and charming, he gave us lots of information about the buildings and history of Cambridge. I am so thankful that nobody fell and it was a very smooth ride - a must do when visiting!

The trip itself was nice. They asked us to wait until a couple of minutes before our allotted time which was fair, however, they then didn't get us on a boat until a few minutes later, which was a little bit disappointing. Our punter was Sebastian. A lively gentleman, he was good to us and ensured that we had an enjoyable trip. The river was not as busy due to our trip being in a weekday, which made the trip that much more enjoyable.

The weather is not perfect today but our guide Nick gave us the best punting experience! Nick was very charming, funny and friendly. He told us interesting stories along the way which made the whole trip really enjoyable. Would definitely recommend scholars punting and Nick!!
