We had a lovely trip on Saturday with The Little Trip Boat. The hosts were lovely, friendly and told us a bit of the history behind some of the buildings. We were very lucky with the weather too. A great afternoon had by all. Thank you!

Celebrated a birthday with a family trip. Absolutely fantastic, we were welcomed aboard by hosts. The kids loved it watching all the ducks and moorhens, shouting 'ship ahoy' to everyone on the towpath!! Had a go at shutting the lock gates. A wonderful way to see another aspect of our town. Highly recommended.👍

Absolutely brilliant time! One of my grandson's said he wanted to go on a boat trip during the school holidays and we found this little gem! I booked for my 3 daughters and 5 of my grandchildren (ages: 1- 6 years) plus myself for 24th August. The weather was lovely and we were greeted by the owners Liz and Phil at the canal by Waitrose. The children were so excited. We boarded the boat and Liz informed us of the rules, one being that we must wave, smile and possibly include 'ship ahoy'! Well, we all joined in waving, smiling and saying 'morning' to everyone on the tow path even the one year old! It was a nice leisurely trip which took us through 2 locks then we turned around and went back through the locks again. On reaching the last lock gate, Liz asked my eldest grandchild if she would like to open and close the lock gate. So off she went with her auntie and they worked the lock gate together. It was such a different activity to do, something that we could all do together, we actually had the boat to ourselves. We would all definitely recommend The Little Boat Trip!👍🏼 Thank you Liz and Phil for a wonderful morning, you made 3 generations of one family very happy! You were both so friendly and welcoming.
