Lovely cruise on the 'Hydrogen'. We were lucky with the weather too which made for some lovely views and photographs. The staff were friendly and polite and the boat was very clean. My only negative was the amount of food, personally would have preferred a little more than a scone & a slice of cake but I'd certainly recommend a trip to family & friends.

Our family came for a birthday treat. This is our third trip, a good sign. A very historical, clean barge. Social distancing was in place, we were given our own part of the deck. Plenty of hand sanitiser dotted about. The crew as always we're very friendly and polite. A nice relaxing two hour cruise, a very hot day but the sea breeze was perfect and kept us cool. Recommended

We have booked a barge trip for our sons birthday present. Efficient and friendly staff. We have been on one of the barge trips in the past and they are brilliant and very well organised.

The barges themselves are beautiful.

Great Day out on a 1906 Thames sailing barge with a lunch included. A good day on the river👍 various tours available depending on tides and daylight hours.

We booked on the Coffee morning cruise 10th August on Thistle, a brilliant couple of hours. Friendly, informative captain and crew, the sun shone for us and a breeze to enable us to be under sail back to Maldon. What a lovely way to spend time on the river. Great value, highly recommend.

We went on the Coffee morning cruise, the sun was shining and a gentle breeze enabled us to return to Maldon under sail.
The captain, Rob, was very interesting and the crew lad worked very hard keeping everything going. We had tea/coffee/soft drinks and home made brownie. A lovely way to spend time on the river.

Fabulous trip, lovely staff, an immaculate boat and great food. The food seemed all home cooked and of a high quality - plus delicious, gourmet cheese for vegetarians! Highly recommend.

Absolutely fantastic private party in the Thistle. The crew, Alfie and Paul and the others were fantastic. It was such a smooth and relaxing trip in the sunshine. I highly recommend this for all ages.
