Fantastic bookshop. So cosy and welcoming with a wide range of books - I especially love the diversity available throughout, but particularly in the children's book section.

I arranged to have the books delivered. They came very quickly and arrived wrapped up beautifully using paper they recycled. Felt like a very special gift! The variety of books offered by Pigeon is second to none. My world of books has widened and I am reading books now that I would not have thought of before. Due to my mobility I am unable to come into the shop and look forward to the day I can visit in person. Their website is a lovely alternative which is easy to navigate, explore and order from.

Small and cute bookshop. Carries a good mix of popular and literary fiction. Has a monthly book club which is fun.

Brilliant independent bookshop, we have ordered a number of books now and all have arrived promptly. Communications from the owner is first class and the service is too. The shop itself is comfortable to browse around and a pleasure to be in. Don't buy from online companies, spend a little quality time in Pigeon Books instead, you won't regret it! Would highly recommend.

A good selection of adult and children's books with excellent, friendly service. I received a voucher for a £5 book token with my purchase, as it was local independent bookshop week. I ordered another book which would arrive the next day. On my previous visit I was given a free book with my purchase.

Fab shop! I ordered a book to click and collect and got an email almost immediately to say it was ready to collect. Staff were lovely when I collected and I look forward to being able to go back and browse when things open up again. 100 times better than Amazon.

The guardian of the blue-tac (The member of staff in store today will understand this reference). Lost out on a sale of over £100 worth of books due to reprimanding my 4yr old niece aggressively for picking up a piece of blue tac. Despite having a children’s section - not child friendly.

Very lovely local shop! If you're struggling to find something to read pop in, have a nice chat and ask for a recommendation! You won't be disappointed by the friendly and helpful service! :)
