Highgate Bookshop

A nice local bookshop. The shelves are well stocked and you are In general left to browse at your own leasure.
It has a love children's corner.

I really like this small bookshop, even though they didn't manage to sell my book! ;-) It has a well selected collection and in this day and it is so important to support your local shops. Go and stock uo your shelves if you are in the area, then enjoy a coffee nearby. (I live in Edinburgh so no affiliation).

The shop windows lures you in with its well presented window display. A wonderful mixture of toys and puzzles for the kids. A great collection of greeting cards and funky stationery. The books displayed on the neat bookshelves encourage you to pick them up and with well thought out collection of stock it's impossible to leave without purchasing something. The staff are wonderful and are always happy to be asked recommendations

What a bookshop! This is truly one gem of a bookshop. The selection of books is of top quality. Must absolutely pay a visit and you'll get a great view as a bonus.

A lovely little gem of a bookshop with a wonderful and well thought out selection. Slightly overpriced but to be expected when not buying from an online shop. Sadly however, the staff are so unbearably rude that I’ll never return. Avoid!

As a repeated customer, I am continually shocked by the attitude of the owner of this SHOP. He’s terrible at helping out with books, and is no use at all!

A nice shop on the face of it, but damn, the staff are incredibly rude. I was fortunate enough not to have been involved, but while browsing I overheard how the man at the counter treated a customer who was also a local author with a new book which had just published. Dismissive and really condescending without any reason. I was going to purchase a couple of titles but took my business elsewhere.
