The Book Den

The most magical shop ! Full of gorgeous kids books and lovely toys too ! We visit regularly as I want to buy it all !!!

There is just something magical about The Book Den from the beautiful window displays to the family like welcoming you get as soon as you enter the shop. The story times are the highlight of my 2 year olds week and nobody bats an eyelids when he proceeds to trash the shop whilst I choose from their fantastic selection of books. I cannot recommend this place enough.

Fabulous little book and toy shop. Beautiful displays and lots of lovely books, both classic and modern. Will definitely visit again and hope the people of Hythe also choose to support our local independent sellers so the High Street can thrive

We visited today with our 8 and 4 year old girls. We could have spent hours in here. Such a beautiful shop.

A Magical and independent bookshop, that offers new and classic books.... it transports you into story land .... Harriet is very knowledgeable and helpful. The website is very user friendly and has a quick delivery service.

Use this shop for buying gifts for my young niece and nephews , Harriet is always great at helping me choose suitable gifts for them. I always use her wrapping services for that extra special touch.
