Wonderful little bookstore with a ton of rare books that look like they are from estate sales.

My father started visiting Maggs in c. 1926 and I happily continue his tradition.

The best antiquarian book seller in London, also one of the oldest. Many first editions and unique and interesting ephemera. Fine service with incredibly knowledgeable expert staff. A must visit for any self-respecting bibliophile.

Love books. Wish it was at old 50 berkeley square address. Could feel psychic energy then and chat to owner about the spooky attic stories. 👻🐙

We received a donation of a first edition of a 1890 military strategy book and I took it there to see if they interested. They were not but they were absolutely lovely, took time to research the book and to explain to me a lot of interesting stuff on these sort of books; a tips to sell it online. It was a true pleasure to go there - the shop is a gem
