Waterstones

Great book store with a large range of titles and authors, but it also sells cards, soft toys, games, notebooks, jigsaws etc.
There is a cafe upstairs (we didn't venture up there today though).

This is large store with lots of choice on different levels. There is a lift for those unable to manage the stairs.

I love Waterstones in general, but the person that assisted me at this store today was absolutely wonderful. Friendly, pleasant conversation, and she remembered they had the exact thing I was looking for in storage and found it for me! I didn't get her name but I wanted to say thank you again.

Found the new Neal Asher and plenty of other things which I had to resist. Didn't find the second Mick Herron but looks like current world events are taking their toll on stock levels. Staff very friendly and met a fellow Asher fan who gave a glowing endorsement of the new tome.

Love this shop, great staff and selection of books/stationery/games. Nice mix of all genres of books. Good place to drop in and browse for an afternoon!

I love this shop, not only are the books great but the staff are some of the most lovley people I've ever met! Every staff member is warm and welcoming and you can tell with the way they interact with customers. You feel like a friend, not a purse. The cafe is warm and welcoming too, great for a read and some carrot cake.

Excellent staff and extensive anime range

There's a fantastic display for new books by both established authors and new writers, as you enter, and the store boosts a great selection of gifts too! I also found the store to have a very adequate range of travel literature and guides too 👌 thanks!
